   Got prescribed a steroid cream for peri-oral dermatitis. This made the skin condition even worse. When I messaged the clinic to share the outcome, they replied saying I must have been allergic to the cream rather than acknowledging that a steroid cream for POD is not the recommended treatment. Having paid £200 for a consultation for a treatment that made my skin worse, I’m not happy.

   Really bad atmosphere in the reception area . The receptionists were talking about another member of staff very negatively and tactlessly. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

   I visted for treatment regarding a facial cyst. Steroid injections reduced some swelling but upon return they told me tht removal was not a good option and that I should take a prescription for a drug that I’d had previously. They didn’t work the second time around and I was so put off by the cost of the consulation, and the way I was escorted to the front desk to ensure payment for a £200 20 minute chat that I decided against continuing at this clinic. I was refunded but the atmosphere was not welcoming and I felt like just a number. I used Cosmedics yesterday to remove, and they were perfect in every way.

   I don’t know about the doctors, as I will not be attending this clinic due to the rudeness of the receptionist who took my cal when I called to make an urgent appointment. My experience was extremely unpleasant, I would not recommend calling Hove Skin Clinic. If you can book online, and if you wish to, that would be my advice. Why allow oneself to be put in a position where someone paid to help, treats a prospective client in this manner?

   An easy 5 stars for this place. They very kindly called me to change the appointment I had booked with the doctor, to ensure I had a free consultation with nurse Sarah first. Upon arrival, the lady at reception was friendly and helpful. Sarah was really nice, she put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. She was unhurried, took her time, answered my questions, and very professionally performed the medical procedure then and there, after giving me the choice. I was very happy with my visit there. Highly recommended - and it was recommended to me by a doctor at the Nuffield for the procedure.

   A huge thanks to Sarah Williams who was able to laser away all my facial red veins. I have tried treatment for the same facial veins before at other clinics and they have never been successful. Sarah explained the treatment in detail along with explaining the aftercare (which I had never been told before at previous clinics). The clinic is a professional doctor lead medical clinic along with the equipment also being medical grade equipment. I will differently go back to see Sarah if I wish to have any more treatments and would highly recommend Sarah Michael
