I really like this pub when visiting with work. The food is reasonable quality and good value. The pub is quite large and is very popular so recommend booking but it is nice to see one doing well, even if it is a chain. There is a fantastic outside eating area by the lake if the weather is nice.

From the outside it looks like a run down old restaurant but you should never judge a book by its cover. Once you enter it is like stepping into a whole new world. Great food with average but filling portions, great desserts and excellent value for money. The interior was not the best pub design I have ever seen, but it does the job of creating a cosy, relaxing atmosphere and aesthetic, and is clean. For both courses, we were served pretty quickly, I get that we weren't there at a busy time but we have experienced longer waits in other pubs at similar levels of business. There were indoor and outdoor play areas to keep kids busy while they wait for their food, and monitors showing the play area in the main pub for parents to monitor their kids. One of the best features of this pub is that it is situated right next to a lake, providing stunning views from the back windows and outdoor tables. A walk around the lake is accessible directly from the pub. Even though we weren't staying at the Premier Inn, I will mention it's extremely convenient for its guests as it's right next door and even shares a car park. Though the pub is great as it is, I have a few ideas for how it could improve and become even better. First it could do with a baby change separate to the accessible toilet, as there seemed to be a constant stream of families using it to change their children, which would make it difficult for wheelchair users. Also, the tables could be further apart, we found we struggled to get out at times.

The Sandpiper Brewers is located by a busy junction that serves routes to many local towns and amenities, close to the beach and right by the side of Sandy Water Park and reservoir. Huge range of drinks and food at affordable prices, and the quality was frankly excellent. The reason why we left 5* review is because of the staff who was worked tonight (12th of July 2025) was very friendly, and accommodating. We are from London, haven’t got idea where to good at 9PM with a 7 years old with us to sit down and eat in peace and quiet. Right on the brink of kitchen closing time they offered us to stay for our dinner. Special thanks to Amanda for arranging the kitchen and bar team to help us. I work in hospitality too, so I understand the pressure and restraints of the rules and laws, so it made it clear that this place isn’t only family friendly but also very hospitable! This experience leads us to have our breakfast here before our busy day performing on Llanelli Pride 2025!

We had an absolutely lovely breakfast! All you can eat hot buffet with cold yogurts, cereals and pastries too. The sausages were heavenly, and cooked to perfection. The hash browns were the crispiest things I've ever eaten! Everything was extremely clean. The toilets were also clean. My only suggestion would be to get another coffee machine. One coffee machine for all the tables made things a little slow.

I visited this place with my friend for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant atmosphere filled with locals. This restaurant seems to be beloved by all generations, as I noticed a diverse crowd that included grandparents, parents, and young adults. On the way to this place, there is a beautiful lake teeming with swans, geese, and ducks. The stunning scenery enhances the overall dining experience, making the food taste even better.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Sandpiper. There's so many vegetarian options it took me a while to choose and the portion sizes were great. I had the smothered vegan chicken and it was huge. It also had my favourite vegan bacon too which is a bonus. Also great value for money. Lovely staff too who are all helpful. Loved it so much i booked a table while in the restaurant for veggie Christmas dinner. Would recommend. Thanks.

As there was a Birthday party I had a sirloin steak which was so tender. Lovely food all round with no complaints. Only problem was there was a lack of room as there were thirteen of us. We needed more space, but all in all a very nice evening.

We have been coming here for a while now. The food is lovely as are the staff. I really like the snug end of the bar it is really cozy. The outside is great when the sun is out. They have a nice little outside bar which are a nice flavour to it. Outside heaters are provided which is great when the sun goes down. Turret have a great play area for the kids outside and in. A lovely venue fair play.

The Sandpiper, Brewers Fayre is located in Llanelli, West Wales. Brewers Fayre is a budget style restaurant offering a great value food, on a budget. They feature a value offering during the week of 2 meals for only £8:99 (prices may have altered from the time this was written) We pulled up to the car park to find it almost full, so started to wonder if we were going to find a table. Upon entering we were greeted by the Manageress who welcomed us and asked if we She then asked if we had any allergies and asked if we would like to sit inside or outside in the new patio area. Since is was extremely hot we opted for the outdoor patio. If you use the car park, be sure to validate your registration on the iPad upon arrival! The outdoor patio is new and features standard tables and chairs as well as high seated benches. There is an outside bar situated to the left as you walk outside, so you don't even need to go back inside to get another drink - fab! The patio area overlooks the Sandy Water Park Lake which is a lovely view while you relax in the open air. If you didn't see the 'Brewers Fayre' sign you would honestly think you were in an upscale restaurant. The entrance to the restaurant as well as the patio area are all on level ground making wheelchair access easy. An accessible toilet is available and does not require a RADAR key for access. New to this restaurant is the 'Whip'd Ice Cream Station', where you are able to mix and create your own ice creams complete with various toppings. There is of course a small charge for this. There is a QR code on every table which allows you to see the menu on your phone, however, you are still required to visit the bar to place your order. This was explained to us by the waitress who passed by our table and was also keeping all the tables clean, as well as helping other guests. She was doing a great job and was very helpful and friendly. We ordered the Breaded Mushrooms and Potato Dippers for starters and we both had the Smothered Chicken for mains. Our starters arrived relatively quickly, brought out by another Team Member who was also friendly and smiling. These were piping hot and tasted great, although the diced bacon on the potato skins was very scarce. For drinks we had the Coke refills which work out at exceptional value for money if you want more than just 2 refills. The available choices are Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Orange Fanta, Lemonade and Dr. Pepper Zero. Each of these is available with a Lime, Cherry or Vanilla shot if you choose. The refill station is located inside for you to help yourself. There is also an ice machine as well if you want your drink extra chilled. Shortly after we finished our starters the lovely waitress came over to clear our plates and asked if we had mains to follow? We said we did, so she said she would let the kitchen know and advised us they shouldn't be long. We thanked her and went to refill our drinks. Before we new it a Team Member was brining out our mains, Smothered Chicken. This comes with chips, coleslaw and garlic bread slice. The smothered part of the chicken has BBQ sauce, slice of back bacon and melted cheese. The chicken was juicy and tasted very nice, and was not burnt underneath which sometimes happens. A visit to the toilets is unfortunately where things were not so good. The gents toilet was not that clean and had a very strong stale urine smell which was extremely unpleasant. The hand sanitiser dispenser by the patio entrance was not working and also dirty. This is not something I expected considering we have just come out of a pandemic. (This information has been passed to the restaurant.) Upon leaving we were thanked for our visit by the Manager. However, overall our visit was very good indeed and very affordable, even if there is a group of you. It's the perfect place to go if you are on a budget or fancy trying out some new cocktails. We would definitely recommend, and will certainty visit again if we are in the area.

Popped in for dinner. Standard Brewers Fare! Burger a little on the greasy side. Sweet potato chips very good. Chicken salad OK apart from, you get the whole brest just plonked on the side of the plate.. If they had just cut it up into strips it would present much nicer. All the rest fine.
