Not an aficionado of Dylan I found this centre full of mementos of his life, so I got to understand Dylan a bit more. Very nice and welcoming reception staff. Cafe a bit meagre on the food side, coffee ok.
Interesting insight into the man's life from early years to his young death. I enjoyed my visit and put a donation in the box at the end.
What a great place. I loved the Chinese Wellbeing Workshop. The host was so warm and helpful. She showed us how to play Chinese board games and served us wonderful green tea too. I highly recommend visiting, even if it's just to go to the 2nd floor to see this wonderful programming.
Interesting information, attractive and interactive presentation, friendly and knowledgeable staff and perfect choice if you have only 70 - 90 minutes or so to visit.

Great place to visit as long as you don't want a coffee/tea, cake, sandwich while you're there, the café is never open on a Saturday.
I go here usually for university. It's a beautiful place and much history behind it. However, I haven't really explored it much.
Lovely little museum. All on one level so good accessibility. It has a lot about Dylan Thomas' life and writings. There is a nice children's area and there was a children's scavenger hunt. It was great for our 8-year-old.
We found the Dylan Thomas centre to be well presented and very informative. I thought I knew enough about the legendary Welsh poet but the exhibits gave me a bigger insight in to Dylan's life. The space is bright and colourful and easy to navigate and suitable for push chairs / wheelchairs. There is some trail sheets for the children and daily activities which take place in the educational room for a suggested donation of £3. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and left with a new found knowledge on the life of Dylan Thomas.
Staff very knowledgeable and their events programme is great! I always look forward to A Child's Christmas in Wales performances every year :)
