Store nearly always late opening. Saturday, I arrived at 9. Didn't open until 9.15! This isn't unusual. A large queue at the door and no, there wasn't a sale on.
It's a store that has got a good variety on clothes, plus there is a good selection on furniture ..
The customer service I experienced was very disappointing. I purchased an expensive pair of shoes, and after just one wear, both shoes began to peel. Given the high price and the lack of durability, I returned to the store to request a refund or exchange, as the product was clearly defective. When I explained the issue, I was told that this kind of damage does not typically occur after a single wear. I responded that, regardless, it had. I was made to feel as though I was not being truthful, despite the clear evidence. Eventually, the staff agreed to exchange the shoes as a "goodwill gesture," but there was no apology for selling me a faulty product, nor for the inconvenience, time, or stress involved in resolving the issue. The entire experience made it seem as though they believed they were doing me a favour, rather than taking responsibility for a product that did not meet basic quality standards. There was a complete lack of empathy or accountability. I believe the store needs to significantly improve its approach to customer service.

Great boys section for my toddler lovely quality and stylish. Couldn’t find jeans anywhere else only joggers walked in here to 20+ styles . The shoes are fab quality to having only ever bought from Clark’s for my 2 year old I never realised there is a measuring system available in here to. Really trendy and a quarter of the price for literally the same style shoe inside/out. Women’s section have some great plain trendy tops for a great price. Order and collect in store service is great when sizes aren’t available and staff very helpful Thankyou. Only negative is the sizing some of the kids stuff I have to buy age 2-3 others 4-5.
Having had to queue to get in, then queued to pay at checkout, we were later stopped by security leaving Asda because 2 of the 3 items we had purchased in Next still had their security tags attached and activated the security barriers in Asda.
Still can't find the size of the things I like. Loads of extra sizing. The staff are trained to ask if you need help but in order to get the size ie a 14, would require the article being brought from an other store. Which means another visit. I do like to see garments before I buy them for this reason I do not buy on line. I wish to keep traffic to a minimum.
