The MOST unhelpful tool shop around. I spent a lot of money with these people but NEVER again. The young lad Antony has NEVER ONCE gotten back to me with a tool enquiry and they probably don't give a monkeys but they will never get my money again. Absolutely useless

Very disappointed, after checking online it showed item came with free battery, drive for over an hour fight thru rush hour traffic on a Friday evening to be told when I got there, I don't think you will get free battery... I explained it still shows the deal and price online, he called someone who I'm 99% sure she said the offer was still on then, he turned to me and said the offer wasn't on... Bearing in mind it was 10 minutes before closing.. total was of my time would never buy there again
Ive never felt the need to write a complaint like this before but I can honestly say I would not buy from this company id much rather pay extra elsewhere... I purchased an expensive tool that wasn’t doing a job a cheaper tool could do... the customer service was shocking I got messed about, misled and even advised to buy more attachments to make it work that proved to be another waste of money. I ended up being charged a handling fee to return a product that wasn’t fit for purpose. Wasted about 2 months trying to get the problem resolved
Why do i always walk away from this place without buying ...? I know why ...its because it Seems like the counter staff have little time for answering questions and cant get away from there screens with little opinion or advice apart from price. As a tradesman with workshops etc I go thru many tools and constantly upgrading so i do drop in from time to time & everytime I leave feeling a little bit like I was disturbing there screen time ! Maybe they sell a lot online and that's fair enough but I want to buy from people with enthusiasm and knowledge of what they selling to get the best option for the job ! I think they need to inject some enthusiasm and life into the sales department ..i don't want to feel like I am disturbing there ff**king screen time when I need good deals on tools and fast reliable service !
Having reserved an item online for collection in store it was disappointing to find that it wasn't in stock when I got there. There had been no attempt by ATC to notify me beforehand and they refused to then provide any discount on the more expensive in stock alternative or to offer to put things right in any other way.
Spent so much money in this store over the last year! But each Time I go in they seem to get more expensive! Prices vary from day to day! Out of the 3 employees who work there only one of them is helpful, the older guy and the youngest one seem to not want to help at all! Everything seems a problem for them even asking for a price on a tool and how much it is including the VAT! From which he then guessed the price and was completely wrong! I took a product back a few weeks ago and the youngest guy said he will try sending it back to manufacture and said they probably won’t do anything about it! I then went in and asked if he had heard anything, when he just stormed out to the back and pretty much chucked me the new product over the counter and said they will just have to replace ours! So probably never sent mine back in the first place! I won’t be shopping here from now on as they don’t want to help and the prices aren’t competitive!
I purchased an impact gun from them and any issues I had were promptly amended. Much better customer service in my opinion than Machine Mart. James (the manager I believe) truly is a fantastic help and very polite. The young lad about 25 years old is also very polite and helpful.
