   Just bought a new three piece suite from John Long , what a brilliant firm to deal with, first class service, lovely staff and a wonderful lady in the furniture department, nothing was to much trouble, she showed myself and my wife with such kindness, we were quoted 6-8 week delivery, it was delivered today after only 5 weeks, the delivery men were second to none , put our old suite in the garage for us. And then u packed our new suite, it was a 5 star service from this wonderful firm, thank you so much

   My mother ordered a three piece suite and put down £800 as a deposit in October 2024. They said it would take 6 weeks to deliver and two weeks before Xmas she chased them up as it was well over the 6 weeks period. They said they would chase the supplier up but then they came back to say that they could no longer fulfill the order because there was an issue with the settee legs. They said they would refund the deposit but she had to chase that up as it wasn't refunded in a timely manner. £800 sitting in their bank account earning a nice bit of interest for 3 months and no furniture at the end of it.

   I tell you what.. this place cannot be beaten. I will never shop for furniture in a large multinational company like Argos/ Next again. The prices and quality will not be beaten and the thing you won’t get anywhere else is their outstanding customer service. I had to change my delivery time multiple times and was in touch with Cath constantly- phoning each other every half an hour or so at one point!!!... She was absolutely amazing and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best customer service I’ve had in my life.. long story short, they are a local, family run business who are happy for your custom and that shines through!… support your local business- you will not be disappointed!    Highly recommend. My partner and I wanted to invest in a good sofa for our family home and John Long was the first place we visited ,we found the owner and his wife to be exceptionally helpful and offered great advice. After going to a few chain stores we kept thinking of the sofa we had seen in John Long so went back to ask more questions. The owner once again was super helpful and open about waiting times and costs. We had our sofa delivered today and the young guys delivering was so lovely and set it all up for us. Really appreciate such fantastic service and I am happy that we bought from a local family run business. Thank you so much :)

   Excellent range of sofas compared to other sofa retailers. No pressure to purchase despite asking for advice twice before making our final decision. Given the sofa delivery lead time over Christmas, we were offered two other sofas to rent until the new sofas arrive. With the only cost being delivery. This is an incredible service especially when we had no furniture to use over Christmas. Will be recommending to family and friends.
