   Travelled up from Cardiff to purchase a sandpit for my young son last week. He just woke up so could have done with a hand to get the items into my car. I asked at the customer service desk if someone could help and it was not a problem at all. Within minutes a male member of staff brought everything to my car and as some of the bags of sand were wet, he even went back into the store to get some cardboard to save making too much mess in my boot. Thank you very much for simple, straightforward no-nonsense friendly and attentive customer service! Will recommend to family and friends. The store itself has a great selection and from what we saw the garden section also looks great and is well cared for. Excellent 10/10

   The team members working on Thursday 15 February were so helpful. I had mistakenly chosen the wrong colour paint earlier in the day and they kindly arranged an easy exchange and also advised on the best value/quality rollers etc. Thank you, terrific customer service.

   Could not purchase folding tables in shop so arranged for delivery. The tables arrived, unpacked, dented, scratched, soiled (where the delivery men had dropped them a few times onto concrete and mud) and not fit for purpose. Atrocious delivery service and quality of goods. Sent all 10 tables back.

   My parents bought a bathroom from the Bathstore here and were recommended a plumber by the staff in Bathstore, which my parents ended up using. However, the plumber swiftly took £1500 off them upfront, came every day for a week but didn't actually do any work, asked for more money off my parents even though no work was getting done and when my parents refused he packed up and left - taking £1500 and leaving them with a completely empty bathroom. He's since blocked their numbers, their Facebook, email etc. Now my parents have savings left to pay another plumber to fit their bathroom. I just can't believe a large company like Homebase can recommend this type of person - a person who scams old people out of thousands of £££ and runs off like its nothing...

   The store feels a bit dated, but there is a wide range of products to choose from. What stood out to us was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. On both of our visits, we were served by a lovely blonde lady whose name we haven't caught yet. She is always super friendly and makes you feel like you are her top priority. She is a credit to this store and definitely brightens up our shopping experience. Overall, despite the dated feel of the store, the helpful staff make it a pleasant shopping experience.

   REALLY helpful lady on the help desk! Patience too with two old gits who didn't have a clue about paint and stuff!! Sorry to see wallpapers being phased out, someone on the influencer sites said it was too old hat now I expect! Then, I've never been one to follow anyone's trend but mine!!!
