Great shop, good central location. Could do with a couple of self serve tills as queues are sometimes big.
I arrived at the store, A couple of minutes before closing time. I wanted to grab one item. The staff had closed the store early and was stood there near the door Inside the store chatting. I tried to signal to one of them, and then they rudely shouted at me “WE ARE CLOSED” I replied to say that it wasn’t 10 o’clock yet and They are supposed to close at 10. “NO” What was the reply. Clearly, they do not value their customers, and can’t wait to go home early inconveniencing them.
Staff are very miserable. I would like to know what it is that comes out of the machine with the receipt that the till person looks at then puts down near them behind the counter. Every other co-op that I go in, I am given vouchers that come out of the machine with the receipt.
I'm sure the Costa machine doesn't get cleaned out I have had two hot chocolates now both poor quality I got the same yesterday from great Yarmouth from the same type of machine and it was really good
Just been in the Copop - many customers not using sanitisers, no social distancing, just been told by a customer not to bother about social distancing when he passed infront of me called me miserable cow for telling him I did care. The staff are no help was told they can't do anything about it. Well they did when it first happen last year when they only allowed a few customers at a time and a member of staff at the door but I guess they can't do that again too much work I guess. Don feel safe going there at all.

A very good handy store until the covid crisis then it became an excuse for some staff to make adifficult situation worse. I was not the only one who was refused flowers and chocolate even though i had done an 'essential shop'. Yet youths were just buying alcohol and were obviously the worse for drink. It seemed to be elderly ladies that werethe target for this dictatorship
Good selection of fresh food, staff seem very slow. They have scratch cards and newspapers. Meal deals are not labeled correctly. I have purchased two now over the past month and was charged over £5. There are no instructions apart from the labels on the shelf which clearly say all sandwiches, drinks and snacks are part of the £3.50 deal. Not amused to be honest. They sell magazines, frozen foods, fresh meat, sweets and much more. Free parking is available opposite the store.
