Great value for money, lots to do that kept the whole family interested and engaged all day! Responsibly priced cafe with good variety. Helpful staff, lots of parking.

Attended the Perseids shooting stars event this year. The place is beautiful to visit, with a lot of interactive activities to do. The event started with an interesting talk from one of their astrophysicist, quite informative. Then we moved into groups and rotated around all the domes. The knowledge and passion of the volunteers was amazing to see and hear. It's well worth a visit, especially on one of their special evenings. Will definitely be back in the future.

I went here when I was a kid with the school and thought it would be a nice place to take my daughter who is turning 6. It still has the wow factor and the people working there are really nice. Many activities for kids and easy access to toilets. Good parking and they sell food on site. Great that you can bring your own food. It is a nice day out and if you want a little walk then there is a public pathway leading up to the castle.

What a great place! Very informative talk and great hands on activities. All children and adults loved it. There are tables for picnic outside if the weather is good. It's quite cold inside as it is big and old so dress up warm in colder weather. We would love to come back for stargazing sometimes.

Absolutely brilliant place. My boy (age 7) loved the time we spent here. We all really enjoyed all the hands on activities especially the water ones outside. All the staff we interacted with were lovely and friendly. Plenty of places to have a picnic. Two cafés on site. One for light bites, the other for more hot food. Toilet were good and free spacious parking. We spent about 5 hours here and my boy could of stayed longer.

Visited as a family of five. Cost just over £30. Plenty of parking. Loads on offer for my three children who are aged from 6 to 14. So many hands on things for them to explore. They especially enjoyed the activities outside so I would say if you can visit on a non rainy day. Loads to explore inside too, everything is interactive. Attended the telescope talk which was really interesting although maybe a bit information heavy for younger children but the man was very sweet and engaging. We took a picnic and there was plenty of seating. Cafe inside too. Would absolutely recommend.
