   Never been here before, but went back on a return family ticket. I absolutely loved it, the upgrade work is excellent and the play area is brilliant. I could have stayed all day and found the whole visit fascinating

   The fort has recently gone under a huge renovation project, which was carried out in pain staking detail to insure it was done to a high standard. The facilities here are really informative and educational, some of my great great grandads medals are on display here which is a great honour. The views from the top turret platforms are amazing.

   While visiting, I forgot that I am actually on my holidays and not at war time. Impressed by this fort. I takes you through the times of both world wars and the history of wartime Britain. It's a dog friendly place but be aware that all the ramps are made of steel and they get extremely hot in summer.

   Visited with a small number of Scouts on a sailing weekend. We found the staff to be welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful. The Fort is incredible. Lots of fantastic displays and interactive things to do. The views are incredible when looking out over the port from the escarpments. A truly lovely, historical place to while away a few hours. A lovely cafe that has a lot of choice in food and drink. Many thanks and look forward to seeing you again soon. Alex 1st Billingshurst Scout Group

   Very interesting place to visit. Some fascinating and very well presented historical displays. Clearly a great deal of work and planning has gone into producing these. Views from the fort on a sunny day are stunning. Well worth a visit.

   An interesting couple of hours to be had if you have an interest in history. Some impressive gun emplacements and views from the top of the fort. It felt like there was some restoration work to be done as a few of the areas were closed and there was a fair amount of scaffolding.
