   Traveling to Tigray was undoubtedly one of the most exceptional journeys of my life. The region resembles a "biblical" land, a land of "milk and honey." The stunning landscape, characterized by its towering sandstone cliffs, is truly awe-inspiring, and the vibrant colors are simply breathtaking. The ancient rock churches and the rich cultural history spanning nearly 2000 years are captivating. Remarkably, the dull and hedonistic influences of contemporary "civilization" have made little impression here. The residents of the area are remarkably warm and welcoming. The cuisine is excellent. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Tadele Travel for arranging this trip. I highly recommend Tadele Travel and their exceptional services.

   Tadele is a first class operation with experience guides and cyclists. Their care for our group of riders who ranged from semi-pro to noice showcased their range in making everyone comfortable and excited to mount a bike each day. The scenery was unreal and combined with the hospitality of the Ethiopian people … a trip of a lifetime.

   I had a wonderful experience of visiting the rock churches in Ethiopia on pilgrimage to Lalibela in 2019 with Tadele Travel. The places we stayed at were comfortable, the food interesting and delicious and the tour was varied and fabulous. I loved travelling through different landscapes as we travelled through the country by coach, the people are beautiful, generous and kind, open hearted. I am so glad I went as it was a truly wonderful experience. I recommend Tadele Travel most highly, and Girma was great at seeing to our needs. As a local who has lived in the UK for many years, he understands UK culture but also has loads if solid contacts, friends and associates in Ethiopia, so the experience is probably one of the best you could have if you want to experience authentic Ethiopia. I would certainly go with Tadele Travel again and recommend them most highly.

   Tadele organized and supported a road cycling excursion around in the Tigray region of Northern Ethiopia in 2019. The Tadele team was most professional, knowledgable, and had all the 'details' of the trip planned out. More importantly, they were courteous and fun to be around, and were quick to pivot whenever the daily road trips had unexpected adventure. Highly recommend their service.

   We enjoyed really spectacular hiking with Tadele travel in the mountains outside Lalibela, Ethiopia. A wonderful combination of hiking, getting a sense of the communities you were hiking through, being well looked after (cooked meal ready for you at your lunch stop), enough creature comforts (decent bed etc) but still getting all the positives of camping (sitting round the fire at night, watching the stars and the birds...). Would really recommend to all.
