   Prince Regent Pool, Brighton. PADI Refresher Mar 17, 2024 Thank god for the patience and empathy of instructors Tom and Dave otherwise my fledging diving career would have come to an end right then and there. I am 76 and my last set of dives were in 2022. As my hearing is poor I found the group briefings very difficult in a busy leisure centre. I was prepared to walk away at that point but Tom pulled me aside and offered one-on-one training. Well that saved me as I'm now looking into a Malta trip in the summer. Thank you Oyster for keeping me going.

   We did a dive refresher course (PADI Reactivate) with Jill, before heading on holiday. Jill was really knowledgeable, very friendly, and eased any nerves from not having dived for 8 or 9 years! We had plenty of time to get to grips with the equipment and the key dive skills, and even got some bonus buoyancy training at the end as we had some time spare. Would definitely recommend!

   My 11yo did a Discover Scuba Diving course in the Prince Regent pool. The instructor Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable and my 11yo had an amazing time (he described Rob as "cool and calm"). Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try scuba diving, young or old.

   I did my confined water dive last Sunday and my overall experience was amazing. They say you never forget your first breathe underwater, and I don’t think I will- it’s really surreal. My instructor Nellie made sure we were all safe and having fun the entire time. Had a great laugh whilst learning how to dive safely, was a great day!
