   Yet again, I went to the Wellingborough branch and hit the same wall. I just wanted them to cut a board I bought there so it would fit in my car. The last two times the excuse was “no staff available,” and this time there’s a note saying the machine is broken. I even tried calling before leaving home — it’s a 10-mile drive — but of course, nobody bothered to answer the phone. Honestly, I’m done with them.

   Ordered something through B&Q app as the third part but order never arrived. Wasn't getting anywhere with Monster shop who was the seller. Constantly chasing them as too where my order was etc but had no luck. Popped into B&Q wellingborough and the lovely man ( Michael we think) Was so helpful and refunded me my money. A big thank you for all your help today.

   Terrible experience today in this shop. A woman was in the door waiting for me to check if I stole something. Terrible. After I spent 60 pounds. Never had this experience before. I don't shop much here but now will never shop again in this brand. If you ask them something about something they don't know nothing about it. Never again in my life will come to this brand.

   I popped into Wellingborough B&Q before Christmas to buy some supplies. As I approached the tills I was barked at by one of the women at the customer service desks to use the self-service tills. I had quite a few things to put through including some large bits of wood so taken aback by the attitude went to the self-service checkout. A rather large-looking security guard stood right behind me making his presence known and could well have been intimidating to others. Made no attempt to help when he was either in the way or I struggled to put some of the items through the scanner. When I had finished and paid he proceeded to argue with me that I hadn't put something through the till.  I knew I had so stood my ground. He went through the items one by one and when he realized his mistake thrust my receipt back to me without an apology. There are many ways this could have been handled better, especially as you are now being forced into scanning your own items. The customer service here needs a huge overhaul as it is literally losing customers and revenue. I won't be back here for certain.

   Nice large b and q. Always seems to be parking outside as it's on a retail park, although weekends can be busy. Helpful staff, plenty of stock. Small outdoor plant area, but this is made up by the inside area being spacious. Toilets available at the back by the bathroom selection, but these arnt always available and often have a CLOSED sign on them.
