What was once a quick and exciting trip to a great store is now a chore to a sorry run store led by incompetence. Place an order and pick up an item from a nearly empty store while members of staff stand around and walk at the slowest pace. Talk about no rush and getting paid by the hour! My apologies to the 2 staff members at click and collect speeding around trying to get everyone sorted. They must have dealt with 20 customers while the others dealt with 2. Which was including me.
I would give no stars . No staff. Finally the lady I asked if there was anyone serving in the reserved till got off her till ( there was no one there) and started serving. Appalling service.
Went to pick up an online order, took 16 minutes and received a parking fine. Didn't realise you now have to pay . Won't be shopping at this Argos again
I visited Milton Keynes, Argos to collect heated airer, and a few other items. Clayton assisted me, and I must say he was extremely helpful, polite, and courteous throughout. He also suggested insurance, which turned out to be very useful, and I opted in for it. Thank you, Clayton, for your excellent service.
Just sold me a returned faulty electrical product as brand new. Absolutely unacceptable. A complaint has been made to head office as they have also put the item back up for sale as it is showing in stock and I was told the one I bought was the only one in stock. Good job I checked the box and noticed it was already opened before leaving. Now have to wait 5 working days for a refund. Ridiculous. Update: After a call from head office, my issue with the service was fully resolved. The lady who dealt with my complaint, was very nice.
Took a laptop to return. Only the outside box was opened. The customer service Debb was very rude and did not want to return. She then opens the whole package and returned at the end! Unprofessional and not encouraging to shop from Argos again!
Delivered parcel to the wrong address a divert that they said had been out through our letterbox. That’s a pretty big letterbox if so. Was completely unhelpful on the phone and we had to go walk around our streets to try and find the house they’d delivered it to. They basically just dropped it at any house to get the delivery done, knowing full well it wasn’t the right address.
Purchase: Nintendo Switch Oled Went to this branch to buy the above product and must say it was the most bizarre retail experience I’ve had for a long time. On arrival the dirt and rubbish on the floor near the entrance and some way in was staggering, old wrappers etc. The stores are empty except the monitors you order on, feels like it’s almost closing down. The wait time was pretty short, the staff member quickly handed me the item without any communication whilst talking to his colleague. They forgot the game that was included and when I went back there was no interaction as such and they were still more interested in their own conversation. Should of been exciting to buy this product but it was a really soulless experience.
