What an awful place the riverside currys is. just went in to purchase some Airpods there are 6 staff members ones on her personal mobile phone with a hi-viz saying βhere to helpβ. Two chatting away about a product that keeps launching and never changes, one black hair lady seemed to be working on something, a guy helped a delivery and another one just walking around. Only me and another couple in the store. I walked out as no one seemed to care or asked if I needed any help, I did approach a lady who was walking in the middle she didn't do any eye contact and brushed her way one my left between the shelf and I. Please do review cctv. Replace them with machines, or just close the place down, I've never experienced such disappointing customer service. Icome to think about it not even a smile, a good morning, nothing

Popped into curry's riverside Northampton branch 2193, been in multiple shops looking for looking for air duster. The website assured me they were in stock. I walked around for a bit and realised nothing was on the shelf and started to leave as I was turning to leave an assistant was there and said "sir you look lost can I help you" I explained to him I've been many shops for this item... he pulled out his device and assured me that they had two in stock. The exact number i was after. And boy did he search... 10 minutes later he come back hot and bother gleaming with delight that he had found the two stock items. I didnt catch his name but after he took me to the till and checked me out the name on the receipt says assistant 15 BESTIN so if bestin is your name thank you what an asset to this company you are! You made my miserable search worth while and I salute you. Legend

Terrible customer service. After not being able to get any help in tv section I carried the tv to the till. Where they served the person infront of me and the young lad received a call to say his food is out side. So he then logged off and went out the shop. Completely blanking that I was waiting. Didnβt send anyone over. So I then had to go find someone. To finally get served, once I paid the young lad said thanks and gave me receipt. No offer of helping me carry this tv out to my car. Baring in mind I am 38weeks pregnant and this is very obvious. So I had struggled to carry this out. Walking past staff and not one person offered to help.

Went to buy a TV, new exactly which one I wanted, just needed staff to sell it for me, store empty, maybe 5 customers in total, and no one could assist me, one staff member that was helping other customer tried hard to get his colleagues to assist me, he asked 4 of them, and all of them refused stating they are busy (not seen them with the customers). Felt unwelcome, went to Sixfields and had an amazing experience there, staff very helpful, got served straight away even the store was busy.

OK where to start with what was wrong with this store. When walking in I saw the people working there standing around talking and upon approaching them for help I felt like an inconvenience as I was waiting 15 minutes waiting to get there attention. When asking about a product which was a specifc smart bulb they hadn't got a clue what it was and I had to use my phone to access the Internet to show them on thier Web page what it was. Upon telling them I had traveled 15 miles to get the product which the net told me they had in store, they became rude saying if I'm not happy go to another store and it's not their problem in an abrupt tone.There was no trying to help. I was calm and polite in explaining my issue but to be spoken to in such an unprofessional manner was not acceptable so I am never going to this store again.

Worst nature of non ownership customer service. Passionless- patronising - fragile - quickly upset ( self proclaimed to avoid giving answers). Scary kind of information about a refund of Β£550.00 and the attitude of we canβt do anything and we donβt know ! Talk to customer complaints over the take the numberβ¦ Omg ! It was the most appalling experience of paying upfront to get the laptops delivered to the store. Promise ! Will never go there ever in my life. Obnoxiously condescending customer care. Itβs unlikely that they will survive at this rate : will perhaps pack up like many others.( itβs a bad idea to wish this, but it looks like they will embrace the same fate)

Well done Curry's, you have excelled yourself today! I went to your Riverside store today for a Samsung Galaxy book2 laptop, I may be 70 in a couple of days but I still have my marbles and feelings. For my birthday on the ?th my family gave me money to buy this and my husband who is in excruciating pain drove me there to do so. I stood and waited for one of your store people to finish serving and then asked the question, could you tell me where to find the Samsung Galaxy book2 touch screen laptop please to which he replied...I have just finished serving someone, what do you think I am as I'm not the ORACLE, I will have to look. Taken back and feeling quite upset as I HAD BEEN polite to him - I told him not to bother I would ask someone else. This person explained I could only purchase this on line, which I have now done, wish I had read the complaints on your Facebook page first though! This makes a mockery of your advert on the TV rather!

Excellent service from customer service desk. Problem with my laptop diagnosed very quickly as mains lead fault and arrangement made for replacement to be sent which arrived 2 days later. Thank you. (I think the ladyβs name was Amy or similar sounding name when she was speaking to repairs department.)
