The care my grandfather's recived while on end of life from here is appalling. Had to beg them to come out everytime. When he passed in his home this week they refused to come out to confirm end of life, the nurses had words with them on the phone about it, she ended up ending the call and phoned someone else to come out. My whole family will be changing surgeries. This is aimed at the doctors not to reception. They also gave him some medication that stated it was not for people with kidney disease which he had. If we hadn't checked they would have killed him sooner.

Would give zero stars if I could, quite shocked at the treatment over the last 24 hours from this surgery. I had an appointment yesterday and the doctor was fully aware of the reasons to go there so he would have already had certain tablets in mind to give me. He gave the prescription and the tablets have been discontinued for over a year. I rung up to explain this and the receptionist couldn't be bothered so told me to phone back tomorrow. I phone back this morning to ask for an alternative medication and I'm told to phone after 4pm, which I did only to be told to try another pharmacy. I have tried every pharmacy in the area and no one has them because they are discontinued, even the nhs website that says they have been discontinued. Surely its the doctors job to make sure the medications they are prescribing are actually being made. No offer of help or understanding and this Is the last issue in a very long line of unprofessional and incompetent behaviour. This place has been a joke since long before covid and since then it is ten times worse.

Everything is a nightmare there. Worst being trying to get through on phone and you are no26 in the queue.. 90 min later you’re still waiting yet every time I pick up prescription no matter what time I go waiting room is empty yet you can’t get to see a GP. Receptionists ( apart from the lovely new girl) need re training on how to deal with the public !!

Never any doctors there , it's not fit for purpose any more, no wonder people end up in A/E.and why do they need 12 receptionists, for so few doctors. they can't even answer phones.

I have had bad experiences but they work really hard at this surgery and have a lot to deal with. There are some really nice receptionists here but there is one with a stinker of an attitude. That goes for one GP too. That’s why I just dropped it from 4 - 3 stars lol

Really bad just appalling attitude of the receptionists in this surgery customer care courses probably won't help, new people will. Average wait times in the morning to just talk to a receptionist 1 hour and its been like this since before the pandemic.

Rude and unhelpful receptionists, ridiculous holding times and not able to book appointments for non emergencies. Can only see the dr on the day you phone which is a gamble whether you’ll even get an appointment even after phoning immediately as the surgery opens and waiting in a queue for up to an HOUR to get through. Leaves you no choice than to book a day off work to see the Dr and you may not even be seen or even talk to a Dr on the phone. You have to disclose your medical issues with the receptionist (not medically qualified) in order for them to decide whether your ailments are worthy of a call back- absolutely disgusting, potentially dangerous and a breach of the confidentiality I wish to maintain between medical professionals and myself. And to top of off, an experience with a nurse at the surgery left me feeling hurt and not worthy of care. Her rude, confrontational and unprofessional bedside manner during an appointment for oral contraceptives was appalling. Fed up, disgusted and disheartened by this surgery. Please change your policies and acquire more GPs to deal with the workload. Wouldn’t hurt sending that nurse to some sensitivity training too.

Usually I don't need to contact the Dr's surgery but over the last 2 months I have had to phone 4 times. Each time the receptions have been amazing and really helpful. The first occasion I was provided with help and information over the phone and the other 3 times which is a recurring condition iv explained what's happening and they have got a Dr to contact me straight away. The call time can take a while but with so many people ringing what do we expect. I find as long as you are polite and respectful to them they will do everything they can to help. Everyone is stressed out and understaffed these days so a little understanding goes a long way.

Never in my life have I had such a bad experience, it is one of the most limited and unprofessional surgery. After listening to the robot for minutes, you have to wait another 40-50 minutes (you watch your credit on the phone run out quickly), until finally it's your turn. You feel your blood rise in your head, your heart beats so hard that it can explode in your chest in frustration, anger and helplessness. It's another day when you can't contact the GP. Every time I hear the voice of one of the receptionists I know that my phone is unsuccessful. It is a mockery of patients' dignity. Every time there is an excuse, of not being able to get in touch with the GP, every time you will feel the wickedness of the receptionist's voice, the haste with which she tells you to call again tomorrow. Today I was told that the phone line was not working (although my phone was answered), so again, without success. It is time to move to another GP, who will probably have more consideration for patients.

Officially the worst Place to get any help or support from your GP. Just called to chase up a call i had two weeks ago. I keep getting told to call every week to make an appointment with a specified practitioner and always get told that they cant do anything. Surely there’s something about patient neglect. I have been put on these tablets and have been on them for a while now, been allocated a specified person. This person hasn’t been reachable for almost a month. I cannot get an appointment at all, i get told every single week to try again next week. 4 weeks in a row! They can’t even help me get referred to someone else although this woman is never available. Basically if you suffer with any mental health, don’t come here. Absolutely 0 support and they can’t even help get you referred to anyone else, no wonder Suicide rates are at an all time high. Lack of care and they’re not forfilling their Duty of Care. Changing doctors 100%
