   I ordered filter pods for my Numatic quick Henry hoover. The website showing a pack of 10. I ordered 1 pack and was shocked to receive 1 single pod. Paying £6.99 for a single item which is widely available for £1. When I rang to make a complaint, I was spoken to very rudely and told I could return it, but I would be paying my own postage. The ‘gentleman’ then abruptly ended the call.

   My small chest freezer gave up the ghost, must have been in the night, and I didn't discover it till this morning. A phone call to Square Deal in town, yes, they had a replacement in stock. Under 3 hours later, the new freezer is installed and refilled. That is local service for you. Well done for pulling all the stops out.

   Ordered hoover parts for 32mm Karcher via their Parts-Master-Direct eBay account. Sent 35mm parts and expect me to pay postage to return. No amount of showing him clear evidence this is a 35mm part will convince him. So before you buy takeaway a look at my Google review photo because it will clearly show the parts in question are not 32mm. Sellers response to my negative feedback on eBay was to poke fun at my spelling I do apologise for being dyslexic I wasn't aware that had an impact on consumer rights.

   Purchased a 'genuine' new replacement part for a tumble dryer which snapped within 3 months. Highlighted that should not be the case and hoped to resolve but after sending multiple messages over a couple of weeks , only had one reply and zero interest in after sales customer care for a faulty part they supplied. Very disappointed and poor form once you have handed over money. UPDATE: 17/06 Amazing, it takes a Google review to get a response. For the benefit of Google when it reviews , the item was purchased from the eBay store, which is this business.    While I'm sorry I can't say about the shop, I gave them a call long time ago about the possibility to rent a washing machine as mine broke, was just a few questions and decided not to go ahead, they ran a hard search on me and dropped my credit score. Didn't even get anything, at least ran search if people will go ahead and buy /rent stuff, poor customer service too, the person on the phone wasn't even interested in hearing me, just kept asking me the same question while I was explaining what I want
