Beautiful house and estate, very well maintained both inside and out. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and on hand to talk about the history. It would definitely be worth visiting the gardens in the spring and summer.
We were fortunate to visit on a sunny day, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The National Trust staff were helpful and welcoming throughout. The craftsmanship of the woodwork inside the house was truly impressive and beautifully preserved. The garden was equally delightful, meticulously maintained and a pleasure to explore. A memorable visit that reflects the care and dedication of everyone involved.
This must be one of the top NT properties Interesting house and gardens. Park walks recommended. We did the multi use trail all around the estate around 4 miles. Then after food the lake walk around 2 miles. Both excellent. The cafe was good. House volunteers excellent
A beautiful building with interesting architecture. A lake with lots of wildlife. Kingfishers, otters, ducks, swans etc. Lovely colourful gardens, with fountains. Many walks through gardens and wooded areas. Plants can be bought at the shop, aswell as "National trust" hats & clothes. (Near car park). A book shop is also in the main building. There are facilities for food and drink. Public toilets and also seating areas around the grounds. Disabled access to most places. A car park is nearby and a pub. It's a great place to visit for adults and children.
Excellent NT property. Plenty of free parking for members. Beautiful gardens and woodlands to walk around. A very interesting house to explore. Two great cafe with indoor and outdoor dining areas. A nice book shop NT shop and also plants. The walled garden is worth a visit along with a walk around the lake on a nice day.
A really nice day out with National Trust. The gardens are amazing and attended by a small army of dedicated volunteers who are doing wonders. It's great to see the gardens evolving. We walked up to the temple and then down the avenue, back to the house and you are rewarded by a magnificent view. The fountain is lovely to see. Cafés, shops and the wonderful charity bookshop add to the whole experience. You really could spend the whole day here. The location is stunning and there's even a pub next door if you fancy a pint! Definitely worth the trip.
One of the best national trust properties I have visited in a long time. One of the so called treasure houses which lives up to its name with an impressive collection of art and artifacts as well as impressive interiors and a huge library. The staff were all pleasant and very welcoming with Chuck on the front door being a true character and great to chat to
Very impressive building. All open with lots to see. We got there early and did a walk around the grounds before the house opened. Plenty of parking available which is free for National Trust members. The house and gardens are lovely and definitely worth a visit as there is so much to loom at. There is a short walk from the car park to the house which takes you past a lovely looking and busy (whilst we passed) public house. On entry to the gardens and house we were asked to show tickets which is good. The house itself is massive and make sure you visit the kitchen before leaving.
Blickling Hall is lovely. Had a good walk round the grounds. Lots to see. Went into House, very nice and we just walked round at our own pace. The Kitchen was interesting and lovely stained glass window in entrance hall. Parking was a more difficult than normal. As the coach park, was not block off. We got into the overflow car park, bit tight for our Motorhome. Worth a visit. The staff are fantastic and helpful.
