I would have given it a zero rather than 1 if that’s an option. The branch manager Tara was very unprofessional and rude, she lacks basic patience and compassion that’s expected of a healthcare professional. What a nasty piece
Unfortunately very rude pharmacist Tera Pectaman and needs to brush up her clinical skills. Was very dismissive and arrogant. She made a decision not to prescribe antibiotics to my dad even before she had assessed him clinically. Blatantly refused to prescribe antibiotics despite me informing her (with my medical background) that he was clearly meeting the criteria for it. Dad deteriorated and we had to go to his GP, who prescribed the antibiotics straight away. Kindly learn from this experience so other patients are NOT harmed in a similar way.
Had some really good service here but last week experienced an individual who was just rude. My wife was collecting a prescription which we knew had been at the pharmacy for over a week. He couldn’t find the item so said to my wife she had to come back next week. When she explained it had been with them for over a week, he told her ‘you have my answer’ and told her again to come back next week. Ten seconds later, his colleague found the item. Oh dear.
I had a blood pressure check on Monday morning and it was high. I went back on Tuesday and was fitted with a 24 hour monitor. I returned the monitor today and was given the results immediately. An excellent service and grateful thanks to Tara and Anthony.
Booked in for a flu vaccination months ago. Arrived and waited for over 10 mins in a long queue to be booked in. Got booked in and was asked to fill in some forms. I was then told the person administering the vaccination had ‘packed’ up the equipment as I was late! Felt like they just couldn’t be bothered. Not a great example of encouraging people to get their flu vaccination. Won’t be going back there.
I booked a Covid booster through the NHS website, turned up for it and got an "oh, we've cancelled all of our appointments for today, sorry". I was a bit annoyed and asked why there has been no text or email telling me about the cancellation all I got was a shrug and a "it's up to the NHS to tell you". The assistant also told me that from next week they would not be doing any vaccinations, and yet at the moment the NHS website still has them down as my nearest place to get one done. Useless. Avoid
Rubbish service Flu vaccine was cancelled twice. I were given an appointment after one month after the first cancellation and cancelled again. I am going away next week and I planned the vaccine accordingly. Got the cancellation text less than 24 hours of the appointment Poor service
Awful pharmacy with very unhelpful staff. Took a prescription in from dentist which had details missing so they said they would call the dentist to sort out. Went back in a few days later and they hadn’t contacted the dentist at all! The pharmacist seems to have a chip on his shoulder and is very rude. Have had other issues with this pharmacy so I won’t be going back.
Pharmacy messed up order for urgent meds, then said their policy wouldn't permit them to resolve, leaving us in an awful situation. More time taken up by hospital staff and GPs to sort out, plus a huge amount of stress for us. GP and hospital staff were left in disbelief of pharmacies response. AVOID.
Asked to show the pharmacist a bite on my leg. Very off hand and dismissive. He didn't even speak to me. He just barked what was required to the lady serving. She was obviously embarrassed by his attitude, whereas hers was polite and helpful. To the Pharmacy profession ... Please don't encourage people to speak to a pharmacist if that's the best you can do. I'll simply go to my doctor next time.
