   If I could give zero stars I would , my son was totally failed by a nurse at gowerton surgery after contracting meningitis in the begining of the year he had to be revaccinated so when he went in for these I asked for a water sample bottle so my son could be tested for diabetes as I had concerns for the nurse to drip his waters and tell me he had the all clear when just 3 months later become very ill and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I was in shock as I'd previously been told he was clear then to find out that's not how you would test ! Put a complaint in for the nurse to deny it all and basically call us all liers when even my 10 year old son remembers this clear as day! As if my son hasn't been through enough this year to then be failed by this nurse ! How that nurse sleeps at night is beyond me as she had delayed his treatment and we could have lost him if it wasn't for my motherly instinct! Then I later find out she is a nurse that specialises in diabetes absolutely shocking !

   It’s not great like most NHS services. Prescriptions frequently cancelled for no reason and it’s hard to get in touch with anyone to get a straight answer. The staff aren’t very good either. I’ve witnessed some verbal abuse directed at patients over the years which is ironic given the posters everywhere telling us not to be mean to them! I try never to go to the Doctors now.

   Awful service from the staff. Receptionists are so unhelpful and useless. Had a phone call to say my prescription can be picked up, when I arrived I was told to sit and wait for my prescription to be “signed”, after waiting 40 minutes, I then asked when will the prescription be signed, to then be handed to me instantly, saying it had been “mixed up” in the same original pile which was checked initially, with no apologies given. Drs are ok, but receptionist make it difficult to even get a call back and are instantly told there are no appointments left even at calling at 8 in the morning. Terrible service and inconsiderate staff.

   Can never get through on Phone, I've been waiting 6 weeks for a call back to refer my daughter to private care, in my opinion these doctors are paid far too much for what they do

   Gowerton Surgery is an excellent practice with a good range of caring and competent staff. Their booking system is excellent with triage for emergency appointments on the day, the ability to book an appointment at a time that suits you in the next week or with a named doctor within 3 weeks. This is in stark contrast to other local surgeries. There are many female doctors who are all very caring.

   As a practice they are good never failed to have been seen when needed. One of the younger female Drs is a little rude but nothing to bad. The surgery its self is a bit sad and could do with a bit of a refurb but your not there for the décor so I guess it does not matter

   Dr kannan is a very good doctor. Very kind manner, practical, realistic and reassuring. I have a lot of problems and am not an easy patient. Iv seen other doctors in the surgery and dr crossland and dr adams are very good too as well as the surgery counseller darlene. All the staff have been respectful and helpful to me even when i havent been that easy for them with missed / late appointments, late ordering of prescriptions etc. They all understand mental illness is as valid as physical illness and this makes me feel safe there. The chemist staff next door are very good to, friendly, helpful and professional. Cant speak highly enough of gowerton staff and surgery. Thank you.
