Not impressed at all. I was actually recommended to go to Wren by a friend but the experience I have had was not what they experienced. I was totally honest and up front about the fact that I felt let down by another company so I had now gone to both Wickes and Wren to see if they could create my dream kitchen. I explained to both companies that my present kitchen, which was I inherited when I moved in, didn’t work as I would like it to. I fully understood that there were limitations due to the window and door positions and that the utility room takes out a chunk of the kitchen. However, I was assured by both designers that they could come up with a solution. So I was then presented with two different kitchen designs but one was almost recreating my existing kitchen. The other from Wickes was more creative and had a corner unit which I loved and I felt it made the kitchen different. So I then had a dilemma. Each kitchen offered me different options. One quote included the utility room being done too but didn’t have a quartz top. The other had a quartz top because it was on a 50% reduction at the time but didn’t include the utility room both about the same price which included fitting too. So I had lots to look at and decide upon. When I next went into Wren I asked if they could put in a corner unit as I was very excited about it in the Wickes design. When I actually sat down to look at both designs I questioned whether the corner unit would work as it looked as though someone sitting in a chair at the table would have to move to enable me to get into the fridge or freezer. The designer hadn’t pointed this out. By the end of that appointment we had gone back to the original design but now the price had increased as the quartz was no longer on sale. Frustrated by this as why was I comparing two different quotes when one was constantly changing. So I rang and asked to speak to the Manager. I came away from that conversation even more frustrated and even cross as I didn’t feel the Manager was listening and he just kept defending all that had happened in a raised and rather aggressive tone. I realise it was a different situation in that I had not made a final decision on which company to use but I wasn’t going to put down a deposit for a kitchen I wasn’t happy with. I said I would like to see the actual positioning on the floor in my kitchen hoping that they would come out again so that I could physically see if there was anything we could do to rectify the space problem but I was told by the Manager that the computer software is top class and shows you perfectly how it works. What happened to ‘the customer is always right’ policy and I was basically told what do you want to do going forwards. I was actually on my way to Scotland and still didn’t want to put down a deposit on a kitchen I was not happy with. It was the Manager’s lack of empathy with the situation that made me feel that I wouldn’t continue with Wren. Managers I thought were supposed to calm a difficult situation down, not make it worse by escalating a bad experience. I have been into the showroom again today and spoke to the same Manager, as the existing quote runs out tomorrow. Again not a good experience in trying to resolve the situation. I found him rude and speaking in a raised voice doesn’t help when trying to resolve issues. Not impressed and walked out. I didn’t feel I was a valued customer at all.

The company’s policies are misleading, and the brochure I was given was equally deceptive. They create false expectations of savings and strongly claim that no other company can beat their prices — which simply isn’t true. In reality, we got a much better kitchen from Haldens, including a solid oak worktop and all corner units, saving nearly £1,700 compared to this store. Despite being told they would price match, I had to go to great lengths to get a fully itemised quote from Haldens — only for the store to turn around and say they couldn’t match the price after all. Save yourself the time and money — Haldens offered far better value and quality. The only positive experience was with the salesperson, Northy, who was fantastic and genuinely tried his best. Unfortunately, the company’s misleading claims and broken promises were beyond his control. Make sure you get everything in writing if you’re relying on their price match offer.

The best thing about Wren Kitchens Bedford is Stephen their designer. We were totally blow away by his professionalism, charm, passion and for me personally he’s attention to detail. What an asset to the business he is. Not only did he put up with our constant changes he improved them every time and always brought more to the table. If you end up with Stephen as your designer you won’t be disappointed. Thank you once again for all your hard work… the end result was well worth it

Great service from Kieran who helped us to design our kitchen, no hard sell, good quality products (we bought flooring too and later researched the brand they use which gets 5* reviews also)

The people who delivered the kitchen were very careful and polite. The designer Shane was wonderful and helped us greatly. The fitters were brilliant and did a stellar job, I would recommend Wren to anyone

Nice kitchens, helpful staff, but clearly commission based so expect the hard sell. Only offers a dry install. I am super disappointed by the way we were told the sale ended on 18th Jan and I needed to secure the deal before then, yet they still advertise 50% off units and 40% off quartz worktops on the telly. The sales rep even messaged us last week to say the price had gone up and we had missed out on the offers, how do they justify that?

Went in for a nose and had a personal tour of the displays with Sabah! Left with a large catalogue to review and a free coolbag.

Don't be put off by the pushy approach of the sale team when you enter. The experience gets better, great kitchen, delivery etc. Don't think we could of found a better kitchen to meet our needs at a better price without going bespoke. Kitchen photo below is still a work in progress but I think you get the idea.
