My follow up contact lens appointment got cancelled by the store the day before it was due, I rang back after a missed call and got no response, tried to book an appointment online which proved impossible due to a glitchy website that tells you there are appointment available for certain times when there aren't went into the store two days later to rebook the appointment as got no answer over the phone and they didn't have any appointments until 3 weeks later, I told female staff member working there that I was going away on holiday and asked if there was anything sooner as I wanted to have contact lenses before I went on holiday and she just shrugged and gave no response, not even an apology for the last minute cancellation or for the lack of solution to my problem, really poor service when I was polite and courteous even after it was them who cancelled my appointment. Going to return the glasses I'd bought and take my custom elsewhere, which is a shame as the experience in-store and during my initial contact lens appointment had been good up until this point. Booking appointments on the website, by phone or in-store shouldn't be this difficult.
10/10 flawless customer service! One of my glasses arms and corner was bent by my boyfriends rolling onto them. I went to Vision Express and I told them the problem and the staff were able to sort it out under 5 minutes. Ella was especially helpful and saved the day! I will definitely now only buy my glasses from here.
Was definitely heading towards a 5 start though as I’d bought a set of frames that weren’t suitable though this didn’t transpire until 7 working day’s they were returned as unsuitable though the Male person who’d transacted for vision express wasn’t helpful as he’d attempted to shift the blame upon a point of sale terminal as his word were if there was anything wrong the till wound rejected the sale, Not sure if his Attitude wasn’t provoking me futher , with a stupid excuse as he’d appeared to act like a manger though hadn’t a clue about apologies. I’d dismissed him as thankfully a really helpful lady resolved the issue as I’d collected the replacement glasses yesterday. Am extremely grateful for this lovely lady that stepped in. Kudos also to your optician as she’d discovered some up coming eye problems that previously were missed out by an opticians I’d used since 2000 .I’d gotten used to the dramatic drop in service quality from another big operator in glasses , ( advertised that the TV commercial asks why did the people use S*ec*a*e*s . Before repeating same loss of sight when the truth it’s a loner route Charing above and beyond a second Class service with 5 Star pricing . My first time to Vision Express so very pleased about the way I was treated, I was given the information I had been looking for with eyesight being the way it is and what I'm to do, the Opthalmic was brilliant as was receptionist all in all a very pleasant and fruitful experience Thank you all there.
