   We used Gill for many years, as it was next to the surgery, but have now changed to a pharmacy closer to home. Whilst staff were always friendly, the level of service collecting prescriptions slipped quite badly. They were rarely ready, often difficult to find, and waiting for them to be made up or returning to collect as suggested didn't improve things. Perhaps systems need improvement or it is part of a wider acceptance of poor service but it didn't deliver for us.

   Went for a covid jab as requested by GP. I had to give ‘a case’ for being there! The staff unfortunately have to go through a chain of questions and enquiries regarding why you need the jab, in my case the staff member giving the jab having to seek advice from the pharmacist before going ahead. This is not a criticism of Gills. I just wish to ask if there is any doubt why cant an ID be requested at all sites to avoid unecessary personal enquiry. After all it is the GP that gives the go ahead so there is no need for all the personal enquiries surely on attendance? A simple photo ID eg, drivers licence or passport ?
