Gary (clearly an ex professional) gave me the best advice on paint choice mindful of the environment it’s going into (steamy bathroom with condensation issues and history of mold). Mixed up an exact replica of a Farrow and Ball in a trade paint mix which hands down provided a far better application than the typical diy stores. Can’t thank him and the team for being so patient with me too! Love this company, customer service personifies!,”

Knew from previous experience and word of mouth that this was the place to go and they didn't let me down. “There is now a new owner of the shop. He is very nice and friendly, (a welcome change from the previous older gentleman). He now has the Pay point up and running, along with the Payzone machine. He is still waiting for the Post Office service to be set up, but that should be soon. He also has the Evri service running. He is also asking if customers can give him some feedback on products they would like to see in the shop. If you have stopped coming to this shop because of the previous owner and service, I would highly recommended a return visit, so you can see the difference for yourself.”

“Helen was a delight to work with for our wedding flowers. The flowers on our day were gorgeous pastel arrangements in a wild gardenesque style. She was able take our ideas and develop them with her expertise to create a stunning flower arch plus milk churn arrangements, table flowers, bouquets and button holes. The arrangements were beautifully unique but all complemented each other. The whole process was smooth, Helen always promptly replied to emails, created detailed quotes and made adjustments to our order right up until the month before our day. Since ordering our wedding flowers we have ordered several floral bouquets from Helen for various birthdays and Mothers Days. Each and every order has been a beautiful selected and arranged bouquet. Sarah and her Mum also attended Helen's Christmas wreath workshop which was a brilliant class and very well run. “Love this Deli. Not only do they have great food, coffee and fresh produce to purchase, the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have been using this place since it opened and many friends and family who are local have done the same on my recommendation…the new Tex Mex nights are great too! If you want a local small business to provide you with locally sourced produce and decent coffee this is your place. They cater well for vegetarian and vegan diets too which can be tricky in smaller towns. Recently I noticed a 1 * review stating they were told “rather rudely” that dogs are not welcome so left. Being a regular I found it hard to believe this. I am aware from being a responsible and reasonable dog owner myself, that there is a sign clearly displayed on the window saying “no dogs” as there is fresh produce on sale in the deli area and counter. I completely understand and respect this. We take our dog on the beach daily and end with a coffee from the deli where they always provide fresh water for dogs outside, tables and chairs for owners and their dogs to sit, and in the past have come to the door or outside to serve us when we have the dog with us or even offer to hold the dog on the lead outside for us whilst we have a mooch inside and decide what to order. So, dogs are welcome just not inside around the fresh produce. I highly recommend this deli - dog owners or not. If you want decent coffee, a great selection of treats, lunches and snacks, and to support a local business head to west beach coffee & deli!”

“Brilliant local car parts place, serve garages and even minions like me with a bulb. Very convenient to drop in to as the location is great, always able to slot it in to a journey between Lancing/ Worthing etc. Easy parking right outside no wandering around a massive car place trying to find help, just go to the little counter give your reg and bingo the correct parts appear! What’s not to love?!?”

“I wanted a good quality and comfortable office chair for my newly converted home office, and ideally I wanted to buy locally. I was delighted both with the chair itself and the service I received. I was able to try out the chair in the shop. It was assembled and delivered a couple of days later at the agreed time and even taken upstairs to my new office for me.
