“Three of us had lunch here last Thursday. This is a local Italian restaurant that is far superior to most Italian restaurants. The food was cooked in front of us with fresh ingredients. It was far nicer than most Italian restaurants and excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.”

“We visited on a Tuesday night and our meal, the service and value here were excellent. The poppadoms and pickles were spot on! We then shared Chicken Shashlik, a sizzling plate with lots of fresh onion, pepper and tomato, and lamb biryani which was full of flavour and closer to what we've eaten in India than most UK restaurants. That was plenty of food for us both, and we left very well satisfied!”

“It’s a family restaurant so it’s meant they work hard for the name and the food . I ordered chicken tikka biryani it’s was fabulous and delicious i ordered it again the next day . The restaurant was super clean and the staff was always smiling and helpful with your order . The portion is more than enough and ingredients was high grade and amazing. The wifi was very fast . I really recommend this restaurant.”

“I walked in a (sort of) sleet storm from Worthing with the incentive of a coffee at the perch lancing and it didn’t disappoint! Lovely welcome, delicious coffee (& the best cheeky bacon bap - I’d walked 2.5 miles so I decided I deserved it!) great views. Just a shame a couple arrived and had a phone conversation on speaker next to me, but that’s not the perch’s fault! My first visit. The best incentive to do a 5 miler a couple times a week!”

“Cannot thank the staff and chefs enough! Went here to celebrate my 32nd birthday with my mum and dad, booked a table in the morning, arrived at 6:45 ready for our 7pm booking, was shown to a table straight away, got seated and served in a timely manner, our server was lovely! Very kind and attentive, we all had a Hot, Fresh and delicious meal mum and dad both had steak, cooked perfectly to their request, I had the chefs special hunters chicken and wow! It was INCREDIBLE, we all were absolutely stuffed! And none of us managed to clear our plate! We don't do this very often but we absolutely loved it and have said we will be doing it again soon! Great value for money! And everything was very clean and well laid out! At no point did we feel rushed or a pain to staff and we are all really looking forward to our next visit! Thanks for a great evening!!”

“Yesterday we had dinner last night and it was an amazing experience. The food was authentic and full of rich Indian flavors. The biryani and veg curry were especially delicious perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend this place if you're craving real Indian food.”

“It's Domino pizza, usually nothing worth writing about. But this Sunday 13th August, only 1 hard working woman at the shop, all the items received was freshly prepared, still pipping hot at home after collection. This shop is very clean.”

“Mr Chips is an outstanding fish and chip shop that never disappoints. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s just as excellent now as it was back then. I have never had better fish and chips in my life. The shop is quite small and can occasionally feel a bit cramped, depending on the day, but you’re never left waiting for long—they are incredibly efficient. The prices are also unbeatable, offering great value for money. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a classic fish and chip shop: warm, welcoming, and authentic. The staff are always friendly, and Mr Chips himself is especially kind—he’s notably pleasant with young children and often gives them a free lollipop, which is a lovely gesture. He truly lives up to the name Mr Chips!”

“Excellent Fish & Chip served. Prices very reasonable. Love my favourite fish -Husk. One very large bone and full of fish meat- Delicious!! There are other varieties on the board that you can buy. Owners of Penhill Fish Bar is very courteous. You can request that the batter is not too crusty when deep fried if you prefer. Very easy to park unlike Taylor Fish Shop in the high street where vehicles are always parked even though they are not the customers.”

“We had the Sunday roast. The food was amazing, good sized portions, and at a very reasonable price. Not expensive. The pub wasn't particularly busy, so it was a very relaxed experience. I can thorough recommend a Sunday roast here. Parking was not a problem either.”

“So I went here after checking out the reviews and boy was I very pleased that I did. I ordered online via the app which is very easy to navigate and arrived 20 minutes later and took a seat to wait for the food, which wasn't too long. You can eat in here or take away, but as you can see from the photos the place is immaculate and the tables are laid out well (not too many so it's cramped, the perfect amount) Whilst waiting I checked out the drinks menu and we also got a Nutella and Oreo milkshake which was delicious. I ordered the double Joe's burger with the dirty fries and I have to say it's one of the best burgers and chips I've had in a long time. The burger was lovely and juicy but the great thing was that it wasn't greasy so it didn't make the bun soggy. The bun was a lovely soft brioche bun with sesame seeds on top. The dirty fries were very good and came with cheese, bacon and some seasoning which was delicious. The food packaging is really nicely and you can tell that they've invested a lot of effort to make it look really good. The staff were really friendly. Although a bit pricier than some places but you pay for what you get and the quality was extremely good. I really recommend the place and if you able to get there it's definitely worth a visit and you will not be disappointed.”

“I was really impressed with the quality and the taste of my takeaway today. I had lamb naga with keema rice. The taste was amazing and what i really appreciate is the quantity of oil was very less. Complementary papadum was crispy and i truly enjoyed my meal. I normally order from just eat but today i discovered that they have their own website where you can get 20% discount with code "over14".
