I visited this shop to post a return parcel and the shop assistant was rude and made me feel very uneasy. He was condescending and I wouldn't go here again.
There is now a new owner of the shop. He is very nice and friendly, (a welcome change from the previous older gentleman). He now has the Pay point up and running, along with the Payzone machine. He is still waiting for the Post Office service to be set up, but that should be soon. He also has the Evri service running. He is also asking if customers can give him some feedback on products they would like to see in the shop. If you have stopped coming to this shop because of the previous owner and service, I would highly recommended a return visit, so you can see the difference for yourself.

Older man is so rude. Always on the phone ignoring customers. Blatant attitude. Lies about having parcels, dishonoring of Royal Mail. Makes prices up on the spot and overcharges kids/teens and also gives back incorrect change amount. Poor hygiene, went in one time and there were hundreds of ants all over the floor by the freezer section at the back. Some foods are past their sell by date so clearly don't restock all the time. Customer certainly DOESNT come first.
The older man is so incredibly rude. He would not take Evri parcel as he said it was too big, when there is a huge store room, door was open. He is so arrogant and unhelpful. Why take on a service if you cannot honour the customer?
Younger server is solid, the older guy is unhelpful, usually on the phone, and rude. The store also doesn't have the full Hermes facilities so when you take a parcel to return that the website says to do, you're sometimes turned away
Great Small business in the local town of Lancing. Good stock and excellent Hermes parcel shop. Good customer service from the owner. Will come back soon when I have Amazon parcels to return and collect via Hermes!
