Attended for a punk gig, and it's a great fit for that purpose. It's a small square basement that's a little wider near the front for moshers, with a small bar at the back. Good selection of drinks for somewhere so small too! The sound was good, and there was a decent sized space at the side for merch tables. I'd personally pick the Prince Albert or Hope and Ruin over this place for 100ish cap gigs, but it's perfectly nice here and if a band you like are playing go check it out.

I have had so much rock n roll fun here (high QUALITY live bands and good vibes). The location and atmosphere are great and the staff were all really helpful and friendly). Not surprised that so much goes on in that lovely cabaret venue downstairs.
Really great venue, the staff were bubbly, friendly and the service was great. The atmosphere was great and the downstairs bar had a wicked skyline on the walls. I didn't eat however someone ate a pizza which smelt amazing. Would defintely go back
thought we would try this place after the good reviews on this page, i have to say we were very dissapointed, it is like sitting in a village hall the atmosphere is that poor, the most shocking thing is the prices, we were paying around £5.50 for two drinks from the other pubs in the area, we went here and had to pay £1 to get in and the same round was £10.80 appalling
