Absolutely love this historic venue. Small and intimate, great sound system, great staff and just an all round fun night no matter the genre. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Our first visit to the venue. As Access customers, we found disabled parking right outside and the staff were really nice and helpful to make sure we were sat with a good view. The venue is a great space to see a band too - if we lived nearer we'd have no hesitation coming to shows here regularly!

A really nice sized music venue. Big enough to attract great bands but small enough to feel intimate. Really interesting architectural features too like the stained glass and cast iron metalwork. Nice bar area. Good-sized dance floor.

Absolutely brilliant venue with a good high stage and a real connector the acts. Really nice and helpful security and bar staff with reasonable bar prices. Plenty of parking too so all good

A legend of a venue in Brighton. This place has history. Not really close to the heart of Brighton, but walkable. Parking somewhat available, but not great and payable.

When of the best live music venues I've been to. Its the perfect intimate place for live music. With the exception of the toilets and a couple of columns incredible. But both of those add character. Sensibly priced tickets and booze combined with great acts. On the run up to Christmas I saw Electric Six and Bad Manners, without having a heart attack, so two great nights of jumping up and down.

Had an amazing time here! Amazing lights and sound. Great vibes, grimy as usual clubs, it wasn’t as busy as most I’ve been to though and early on in the night the toilet paper disappeared from the stalls. So would be great if they could check on the bathrooms during times that aren’t busy (luckily there was rarely a line to the women’s toilet which is rare). Overall a great time!

Great venue, always enjoy going to see bands here. The promoters have their fingers on the live music pulse, the sound system is great, bar is well stocked with a good variety and there are plenty of friendly staff to serve. Thoroughly recommend going to see some live music here.
