Booked ground floor as my husband has trouble with stairs , to be told when we arrived we were in the top floor! Knowing this before hand and not being miss led we would never have booked, no heating either absolutely freezing cold there , booked for two nights but the 1st night was enough for us considering what I've said above. Wouldn't recommend if you need 1st floor access!! This was booked in advance for my husband's birthday, completely ruined it for us , the staff were totally useless.

Fantastic guest house. Lovely room, friendly welcome, help yourself continental breakfast. We were lucky to get on street parking but plenty of pay and display car parking close by!

Comfy beds, location is brilliant. Dated rooms but that's reflected in the price. Extremely loud neighbours in the room next door. Had us awake from 1am until 3am and again at 5.30am. 4 drunk adults, banging, singing, shouting next to a family room isn't ideal at all. WiFi wouldn't work in the room.

Lovely host providing comfy beds and hot shower in the rooms. All need refurbishing but then the prices would have to increase and it is currently such great value! Perfect for a good value location outside Cardiff and a beach holiday.

I only rang on Saturday morning to see if a double room was available for that night... The lady was really welcoming and and told us where a nice chippy was. Our room was clean and comfortable... I would definitely recommend Mary house and stay again.

I stayed for two nights over the jubilee weekend, by myself and absolutely loved staying here. The service was fantastic, had a phone number to call anytime if I needed anything. The room was lovely and clean and had a nice comfy bed. Has it's own bathroom. It was really good for the price. Even though it was a B&B I was aloud to come and go as I pleased which was great. Free WiFi in my room. And only a couple minutes walk from the sea. Lots of Bars, Pubs, Cafés and shops within a few minutes walk too. It's a no smoking B&B but there is places to go and smoke if you wish. The shower was excellent. And the bathroom was nice and clean too. Would recommend this B&B, it was lovely staying there.

We were told it was quirky and you'd better believe it, on the plus side it was very clean with a welcoming bottle of wine, chocolates on the bed, the linen and towels were all fresh and parking this time of the year was not a big problem. You couldn't get better positioning for the town and sea but now the negatives, it is on the 3rd floor, not a fact they tried to hide but there was no fire escape, the bathroom radiator was leaking and the toilet paper left under it prior to our arrival was soaking wet and had spilt on to the floor. I had not noticed there was no lounge or place to relax other than the bedroom, where the metal springs were coming through the mattress or the kitchen and we might just have been unlucky but the flat below had their washing machine on from before 9am to after 9pm each of the 4 days we stopped there, I can't imagine anyone having that much washing and when on spin it shook the kitchen floor and the wine in the glass. So it depends on what you are looking for, but personally 4 days in this quirky flat was enough for me
