What a find! I booked to stay at The Dial House for my husbands birthday and a visit to the Blickling Christmas lights. What a fabulous time we had! The Italian Palace room was perfect. Clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We ate at the Laid Back pizza restaurant which was fantastic. The bakery for breakfast was a clever link to the hotel. In fact the whole set up of having everything in one building is original and works very well. We are now planning to return and to try one of the other beautiful rooms. Thank you, and it was amazing!

Stayed here twice, once in the Africa room and once in the Parisian Garrett. Both lovely, the Garrett being our favourite. Great location with a nice pub serving good food a short stroll away. Service loses a star as they wouldn’t warm a sausage roll for us at breakfast time which I thought was a bit odd, though the food was delicious and lovely ambience. Unfortunately our second stay had us next to a room with a young family who were clattering about and being very noisy from the early hours so didn’t get the rest we’d expected from a β€˜luxury’ stop over at nearly Β£200 a night. Would have thought there’d be some kind of policy for children (maybe lower age limit)? Will return though as would like to try the other rooms.

I took my family to the dial house staying in the Days of Raj room. A footon was made up for my 2 year old and a cot for my 6 month old. The bed for my wife and I was masive and very comfy. The bathroom was amazing, the bath is huge and so is the shower. Breakfast in the morning was my highlight. The bakery on the ground floor provides you with x2 items with a drink and an item of fruit and the quality was sublime. We will be coming again!

great experience. The rooms are quirky and well appointed, with thoughtful touches that make them feel both comfortable and memorable. Mine was clean, cosy, and had everything I needed for a relaxed stay. The location is ideal. It’s a short drive to nearby towns and several of Norfolk’s best beaches, so it’s easy to fill your days exploring. There’s also a pub right across the road, which ended up being a real bonus. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the menu had plenty of good choices. It was the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. Only downside is the breakfast but we knew the deal before we stayed so not complaining, but could be improved with over night oats, protein snake or fruit salad or something other than pastry. Overall, Dial House Hotel is a great base for a Norfolk trip. We would happily stay again. Thank you

Lovely room: large, stylish, clean, modern. Maybe just needs a few more sockets for phone charging etc. Location is perfect. Breakfast in Bread Source worked perfectly for us as we liked the granola, coffee and croissants and didn’t mind no cooked breakfast. Check in was easy and pre-trip comms were good.

Was very lucky to have the opportunity to stay. What a beautiful place, the lady who greeted me was an absolute wonder, she couldn’t be more pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are truly fantastic- each and everyone themed with style. Thank you for making my stay, just like your hotel, beautiful.

Recently stayed at The Dial House for my wife's birthday. We only stayed one night but would highly recommend to anyone. The Sunday roast was delicious with an excellent range of wines (including fine wines), staff were attentive and very switched on. We stayed in the Africa room which was a stunning room with a bath at the bottom of the bed, it was extremely clean with a lot of interesting trinkets. It was extremely comfortable and the evening board on a Sunday had a good range of cheese's and the bottle of red was very tasty as well. Breakfast was excellent and the checkout process was simple. I'd give it 5*'s across the board and would definitely return.

Really unique place, beautiful thematically furnished rooms, all beautiful and cosy. The whole place is full with antique furniture that you can actually buy and take it home. There is a antique shop also with nice stuff if you like antique/retro stuff. Friendly staff and good value for money. Amazing food served at the restaurant. We loved the whole experience and the small village. The whole area is amazing and there are really nice places to visit no mater the season.

We were two couples who stayed overnight and had Sunday lunch. First, the 3-course lunch. We were in a bit of a hurry and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We pre-ordered our meal and were seated 15 minutes before the official opening time. Our starters came straight away followed by mains. We didn't feel at all rushed, but the staff were so efficient and geared up for our need to get away on time, that we even had time for desert! All thanks to the staff going out of their way to accommodate us. As for the food, it was fabulous. Very tasty and well presented. I would definitely dine here again. Now the room/overnight stay. The quirky rooms are spacious, comfortable and, in a word, fabulous. We stayed in RAJ. Plenty of room to sit and read, amazing bath and shower and a huge comfortable bed. Our companions stayed in ITALY and said the same as us. We would all love to go back and are planning when we will do that. The continental breakfast was good although took a long time which was fine for us as (unlike the lunch) we weren't in a hurry. On top of the food and room, the staff at this hotel were all friendly and polite and went out of their way to ensure we had a brilliant stay - which we did!

Been to the Dial House twice in the last month as we had a voucher. Went for Sunday lunch with friends on both occasions. Definitely did not live up to expectations. We felt the service was very poor on both occasions. On the first occasion the waiting staff were undertrained and the customer service was atrocious. As a example when we ordered coffee the waitress brought 4 coffees separately with cups and saucers held in two hands with thumbs on the cup rims!! Most unhygienic!! We did not pay the service charge which is added to the bill so you have to watch out for that. The second visit, today, was just as bad with different problems - the restaurant manager ended up spilling gravy all over the table!! We were disappointed with the food as well as the service this time. The service and the food are definitely not up to the 4 star rating.
