   Very disappointing experience. On my first visit, the woman behind the counter didn’t say hello, didn’t make eye contact, and didn’t even say thank you. Her attitude was rude and miserable—made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. Since then, I’ve called twice to check if they had bait in stock, and the response was just as unhelpful and dismissive. I asked if they had any Lobworms or Dendrobaena—both standard for coarse fishing—and she didn’t even know what they were. That’s pretty shocking for someone working in a fishing tackle shop. In contrast, I rang Anglers in Pevensey and had a great experience: polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and up for a chat. They had exactly what I needed and were happy to help. The angling community is known for being welcoming and down-to-earth, so it’s strange to encounter someone with such a poor attitude working in this kind of environment. I won’t be returning and would advise others to take the extra drive or order online—anywhere but here.

   Very good shop, I've been going here since the early '90's and have always found quality gear for exactly what i need it for and at a good price. Knowledge is second to none. I get my air rifle stuff here. Amazing carp gear selection too. Can highly recommend.

   A shop filled with outdoor equipment and much more. Great service and very helpful. Excellent prices far cheaper than online. Hexi type stove bought with 3 packs of solid fuel for just over £10! Amazing value.

   I'm so glad we have this shop in our town! I have been using it for years for my fishing bit and bobs. Clive is a lovely bloke too, very helpful. Going in there is far more satisfying than ordering bits off the internet.

   Absolutely brilliant shop. I have brought two air pistols and a rifle this year. On of the pistols had a manufacturing fault this was no fault of the shop and was immediately changed without a quibble. The customer service is second to none. They don't do hard sell but instead listen to what you want and your budget. Highly recommended.
