Good stock and friendly staff, only 4 star as the prices don’t reflect what you can pick the same item up for online. Obviously you’d expect to pay more in a brick & mortar store, but could do with more competitiveness.
Jake was amazing with my nephew today. He has Asperger’s and needs to know the logic of why certain products will work or won’t - we spent £600+ on all he needs for his trip to Norway. Without Jake we wouldn’t have had such a successful shop! Thank you
I went in to buy boots. They have a good range of boots, although the Cotswolds website has more. The service I received was really good. It was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. However, I felt they were a bit understaffed, as one person was having to deal with 3 customers at a time.
i don’t usually review retail shops but i am absolutely impressed by their customer service. i just have to give credit to the people who work here. We first asked someone to help us out and he admitted that he’s got someone better to take us through what we need. He was absolutely right, that guy gave us a very detailed, helpful and honest information that we needed. it was a very straightforward transaction, it didn’t feel like we are pressured to get anything and we were very happy with our purchase.
Top notch shopping experience, over the last few years I bought few pieces of my snowboarding gear and electronics. These guys are probably the best winter sport shop in town and they really know their stuff. Ask for Josh for best service. A+++
I don't usually write Google reviews. But this place treated me very well. Fitting was brilliant, advice superb, and they price matched the product when I found it cheaper after purchase. Very pleased.
I went to Snow and Rock in Brighton to get ski boots fitted and Owain was absolutely great. Very friendly and spent the right amount of time with me even though it was a Saturday. He spent time to measure my feet and understand what my needs were. He even sent away for other boots that he thought would work for me. Would recommend to others to get fitted here.
Well worth the visit, even if not in stock. I went in Friday lunchtime for a specific climbing harness. After a look around I asked a member of staff (who was clearly at lunch but readily helped me anyway). We figured out I needed to order it in specially as S&R don't usually hold my size, so I gave up and said thanks anyway but I'll look at online vendors. Hold the phone, S&R do a price match, so a quick check on the competitions website resulted in £10 knocked off the price, plus delivered for free to the store for my collection in the next week or so. Good outcome from great staff.
