   We love Geek Retreat and all the staff are friendly and patient. It’s a great place for families and especially good for those that want a bit of a distraction with kids. Lots of games to play, space to relax and a reasonable selection of drinks too. This isn’t a good place, so if you want to order food then don’t be disappointed with your frozen pizza and chips! I’d recommend leaving the food out…!

   Great place! A shop, cafe, tabletop and board gaming are available (to play on site or buy), and all with a lovely chilled atmosphere. Lovely friendly vibe. Fantastic customer service. Decent food& drinks selection, and at fair prices too. All sorts of tabletop, board games, and other collectible paraphernalia are available. Some make great gifts.. for others, or ourselves. ; ) It's possible to hold group and community events here. Toilets available on site.

   Can get very busy at the weekend. Check the facebook page for different themed events. Saturday 10-2pm typically is Pokémon time, where an army of kids trade and buy cards. They have a good selection of drinks and custom milkshakes. Aswell as food menu items. Good for kids and adults of all ages. Ps: they also have a free board game area with a wide selection of board games to play for free. (But also buy).

   I wish we had places like this when I was a kid. If you or your kids are fans of tabletop games, boardgames, card games and fantasy/scifi models then this is right up your strassê. The staff are very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and there is a cafe serving so-so priced but very generously portioned, kid friendly food and drink. Recommended for a quiet afternoon.

   Great place to visit alone or with kids and family. Really polite and helpful staff. You will always feel welcome here. My son and I now make this our weekly ritual, no matter your level of nerd, you will find something to do or enjoy here. From pokemon to funko pops warhammer to boardgames... this place has it all. And the curly fries are great. Not to be missed

   Great food, which staff are happy to adapt on request. Both meat and veggie/vegan options available. Delicious milkshakes-highly recommend Thunderbolt and Melted Witch (they also have vegan ice cream and non dairy milk so can switch out if needed) Super helpful and knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help you find what you need or to teach you how to play! That includes board games as well as Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, magic or 40k to name but a few.
