Male sure you allow plenty of time if visiting as service is awful. Place had more staff than customers yet still took over 40 minutes to receive milkshakes and scones. Scones we're delicious but not worth the wait.

Had cream scones and tea. Was lovely charming place everyone was super friendly and polite. The scones were freshly made and warm and fluffy. Good quality cream and jam. Atmosphere was lovely. Really lovely place for a tea and light bite.

Step back in time at this most delightful vintage tea room! Hidden treasures in every nook and cranny will intrigue and delight you. Fabulous menu which includes Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free options along with scrumptious cream loaded scones and traditional teas. step inside Betty Bumbles and sample the charm and splendour of bygone years, where the chintzy mismatched china teapots will pour you a cupful of happiness!

Good cocktails at a decent price. Also decent live music on a Saturday eve. Unfortunately, the table behind us demanded that we enjoy the music more. We clapped until our hands bled. One member of our party swayed so hard, she entered a different dimension. I tried to relieve tensions by weeping at the beauty of the music. Sadly, this was not enough. Even the more vintage of the guests piled in, threatening to kill us if we did not "add a new verse to the song immediately". Betty fumbled the sale of a lot more cocktails that day. Probably the first gig I've been to where sitting quietly might result in you getting glassed... Be prepared to start a mosh pit at an acoustic gig and have the waiter ask for payment for a drink you haven't received yet, while some bloke called Dave in a North Face jacket batters your head in.

Best afternoon tea in the area. Little busy in the afternoon on the bank holiday but the wait staff was very courteous and attentive. Food was delicious as well.

Stopped in for lunch and it was a wonderful experience! The young lady who served us couldn't have been more attentive, so very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Helpfully adapted meals to fit me being a vegetarian. Large portions, fresh ingredients and the ploughmans was massive. The decor was quirky, but tastefully in the vintage tea room style. The knitted teapot cosies were super cute! We aren't locals so sad we may not be able to pop in again, but highly recommended to others. Thank you for having us!

Friendly staff, plenty of seating available, beautiful decor and a lovely menu. Had a cream tea and the scone was warm. Huge teapot with enough for 10 cups!
