Came here a couple of weeks ago as they had a nice playground for the kids, plenty of climbing equipment and trampoline, but the food is amazing too. Love Greek food. Pitta and dips and mixed grill and creamy chicken was gorgeous. Kids were happy for 3 hours which is a miracle.

Our visit to The Anchor was brilliant. The food was so tasty and the service was friendly and attentive. I went with a Greek friend of mine who recommended this place, so I knew the Greek food was authentic! We had the 1kg grilled Lamb - it was really nicely cooked and seasoned well. So so tasty!!! We ordered a few starters too and they were all delicious, and finished it off with a tiramisu- yummy!! The location is lovely, lots of space and great for kids with a large garden and play area. They have a car park but over weekends they get busy, so chances are you’ll need to park outside - easy enough as no parking restrictions. I’ll definitely be returning to The Anchor and recommending it to my friends!

We had a wonderful birthday celebration at this pub. We had a Pod to ourselves. The part of the experience are the staff, they were just fantastic. My group enjoyed their meal, I had some meatballs which was hard. The portion was not grea either. We had a great time.

The food was really lovely and tasty but I found the portions small and they were not good value for money. Especially the dessert we got the galaktomboureko but it was tiny and it cost £7.25! That is daylight robbery. Decor is really good and staff are very attentive. Regardless of the low score I do recommend the pub and I plan to visit again at some point soon.

Excellent Cretan /Greek food. The family are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The food is excellent. Great atmosphere and a great Menu. Had the Lamb kleftiko and it was so yummy. Will definitely be visiting this pub again. Thanks Yiannis and the team for a lovely time. Really enjoyed the Raki too. Kristos.

Birthday meal. Lovely pub, great food and friendly staff. Visiting area due to being born there 57 years ago, and found the lovely gentleman who now lives where I was born at home. Misson accomplished!

Thoroughly enjoyable lunch at the Anchor in Tilsworth. Started with pitta bread and hummus, tzatziki, and tirokafteri. Utterly delicious. Mains were mousaka and some lamb off the "weekend grill". Mousaka was to die for. Lamb was, in all honesty, a little over done and I had to dispense with the cutlery and go 'rogue'. But you know what? The flavours were awesome and I'll forgive them because we were a little late for lunch. Still get 5 stars. I watched others having the kleftico served in the greaseproof paper bag, singe'd at its edges from the heat of the oven and determined I would be coming back here for that! Took a baklava dessert takeaway (too full to eat there and then) and it was perfect. Young waiting staff all offering lovely service, particularly Hanna, who was an utter delight. Thank you Hanna.
