Wonderful building steeped in history, it's like stepping back in time. The people and place has so much charm, very warm and welcoming. Great value for money. There are cinemas closer to me but I always prefer travelling to Brynamman. Thanks to all the staff / volunteers who keep it going. Can't praise it enough.
Recently voted as the Best Cinema in Wales 2025 and it really doesn't disappoint! Brynamman Public Hall Cinema first opened in 1926 and it's that vintage charm that really sets this apart from the rest. Tickets are £5 per person and you can choose whether to sit in the balcony or in the stalls below.
Lovely cinema! Highly recommend! Very accommodating staff as well as very polite and well mannered. Cinema is always clean but gives off a homely vibe. Very welcoming. Perfect place for my adhd autistic daughter because it’s not too over whelming like some places. Will always come here to watch a movie with the family.
Great cinema refurbished and run by a charitable organisation. I watched my first film tonight on Screen 2. I enjoyed the intimacy of a smaller room which was clean and tidy. The seating was new and comfortable. There is a nearby parking facility. I look forward to returning to watch more films at this venue. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
Our family travelled 40min to get here today as we read good reviews online, and we were not disappointed! Got shown around by a very polite and curious gentleman and the place is stunning! Very reasonable priced and very comfortable! Highly recommended for any cinema lover! We will definitely be back!
Brynamman Public Hall Cinema is a charming and unique cinema experience that's different from your regular multiplex. The old-school style of the cinema gives you a real sense of nostalgia and history. The staff are friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere of the cinema. Ample parking near by.
Free large car park, very clean, great sized chairs, snacks/popcorn and half the price of big chains. This cinema is run by amazing volunteers who welcome you with a smile.
A stunning little slice of culture in the Welsh valleys. With a welcoming atmosphere and a true beauty of a main hall. Myself and my partner frequently enjoy movies here.
Lovely cinema, the main screen is full of character and very large - just how they used to make them. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices on sweets and drinks. Don't miss the experience.
