   Derrick has undertaken a large quantity of joinery work for us, including a fitted kitchen, bathroom vanity units, doors, wooden floor finishing and more. We have presented him with some quite unique challenges and he has approached each one with care and thought, resulting in beautiful pieces of heirloom quality which are a joy to use. Derrick is a master craftsman. He is highly knowledgeable and no detail is left unconsidered. I’ll also add that he was polite, respectful and meticulously tidy while working in our home. He is honest and transparent about his pricing and kept us well informed along the way, explaining all his processes thoroughly. If you’re looking for beautiful furniture and joinery that you will treasure forever, we highly recommend Derrick.

   When it came to renovating our kitchen, we decided that only a bespoke kitchen would be needed. This was due to the unusual dimensions and wanting to keep a ‘cottage feel’ to the oldest part of the house which included an original bread oven as a key feature. After contacting several local suppliers for quotes and proposals, we asked Derrick to craft the kitchen of our dreams, and we have not been disappointed. From the initial consultation to the final installation, every step of the process has been a testament to Derrick's commitment to excellence and attention to detail. Here is why our bespoke kitchen deserves a resounding five-star review: Exceptional Craftsmanship: The level of craftsmanship is truly exceptional. Being able to tailor the dimensions to fit the space perfectly as well as adding clever touches to the details is what sets our kitchen apart. Design: Derrick went to great lengths to understand our vision and gave us very good advice throughout the process. This allowed him to bring our plans to life and his guidance certainly helped to enhance the final design. High-Quality Materials: This was another area where we relied on Derrick’s guidance. The carcasses are made of a high quality ply and where there are exposed edges this enhances rather than detracts from the overall effect. It is the worktop however that is his pièce de resistance. We were lucky enough that the Scottish Elm that he sourced for us was, as he described, some of the nicest wood he had seen in many years. This was turned into planks and has been jointed together seamlessly. Functionality and Practicality: Everything simply works so, so well! The layout and every feature means that the whole space functions as it should. This include the two wheeled units, one of these containing the rubbish and recycling unit. In conclusion, our bespoke kitchen has exceeded our highest expectations. It's not just a kitchen; it's a work of art.
