   Wagtails nursery in Brighton has been the most nurturing environment to prepare my two girls for primary school. The teachers at this nursery truly care about each individual and foster their needs accordingly. We have been sending our children since 2019 and the staff here have remained pretty much the same. That shows true consistency and also that the managers value their team. Thank you Wagtails! You’re going to be missed by all of us!

   What a great nursery!! I am really happy I chose Wagtails for my son, as he has separation anxiety and he doesn't stay without me. We started on 12th of September and I can say I am impressed with the professionalism and dedication the teachers have been showed, and I can already see progression with my son. Best decision ever.    Wagtails is such an incredible nursery! My daughter felt instantly safe and excited to attend. The staff are so welcoming, kind and supportive they understand the individual needs of each child and create a wonderful nurturing environment.    Both my sons have attended wagtails nursery and the two of them love it. The workers are amazing, really friendly and gentle. My boys grew so much confidence and made some lovely friendships. The atmosphere inside is fun and full of colour and they also have lots of outside space including a wild garden which is fab! Happy workers, happy children and lots of play! What more could you want

   Putting our daughter in Wagtails is one of the best decisions I’ve made as she loves going there every day and even wants to go on her days off! She became this kind and caring person thanks to the calm and loving staff and environment. It is also the most affordable nursery around here and unlike other places I’ve visited they are very flexible with the 15 / 30 funded hours. They’re also the cleanest nursery I’ve visited. All in all very happy with Wagtails.

   My daughter had only been at this nursery for a few weeks, when I was invited to see their adorable Christmas show, which was within the Theatre space of St Paul’s School, where they are situated. I was so chuffed to witness the care, attention and excitement the staff are capable of producing. They use the “Tapestry” reporting system really well, and its nice that we can check her progress through that secure app so easily. I’m happy they appear to be consolidating our reading and writing lessons in a vigorous fashion, which should stand her in good stead for the new school year. The food is apparently “yummy delicious” or you can bring your own. They are very responsive to any questions and accommodating about times. You can pretty much do term time or other times by arrangement, which really helps us.

   Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! I’ve got to say how delighted and lucky we are to have found a place that’s just right for our little girl. This welcoming and pro-active team really go the extra mile every day, and are esp. kind in emergencies when you need a few more hours here and there. We had our 3 yr old solely at home, in another town, up until the last minute, and therefore when we moved, she had little experience of nursery environments. We tried two other nurseries for a period, but they didn’t seem to augment the learning and engagement that we try to encourage at home (we are both boring teacher types.) My formerly (slightly) shy child is now charging around with loads more confidence, language and enthusiasm, due to this excellent place. Sorry for the one handed typing, as I have our new baby in the other arm, but suffice to say, we are hoping that we can get our son into the next wave at “Wagtails’ in a few years, if they have room!

   My daughter really loves this nursery, she is happy each time she is going. It's a lovely environment for the children with lots of things for them to do. The staff are great and very welcoming. It was a great choice and being central it is in a great location.

   The nursery is completely wonderful and the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them to make sure our child is well looked after and happy. They create such a positive and welcoming environment which is also really stimulating for the children. It is so brilliant to know my child's wellbeing is their main concern. It is brilliant to have this type of nursery in the heart of Brighton especially with such fantastic funding options. A brilliant nursery!

   My son has just started at wagtails & I'm over the moon with how happy he is! From the day I looked round I had a warm feeling about it, the owner & staff are lovely & just get it. Every time he goes in smiling and always comes out the same way. I couldn't be happier or feel more comfortable leaving him in this safe nurturing environment. It's also so central making my life a lot easier.
