   Had a coffee while I waited for my car to be serviced so was there a while. Quite a few elderly people came in on their own, and I was very impressed with how friendly the staff were to them, taking the time to stop for a chat, bringing drinks over them if they couldn't manage to carry them, and generally checking in that they were ok.

   Super slow service, quite rude too. The updates to the cafe do look good but not enough to lift the spirits of the glum looking customers waiting for their food.

   I popped in to grab a quick breakfast but at the Tesco cafe but couldn't make my mind up and, as a pensioner, was concerned re price. Jodie(Lawrence I think) was so kind, helpful and patient on a busy Saturday lunchtime. She gave me rrally good advice as to how to eat best and save money and was honest about the best food and portion size. She also gave ideas te veggie food. Talk about going the extra mile! This sort of staff member is worth their weight in gold and should be commensurately remunerated or be made cafe manager! She is clearly a very intelligent young woman. Well done, Jodie and Tesco for a great range of food and good quality but inexpensive. Jodie even made sure my meal of yummy mushrooms, spinach and poached egg was re heated for me because I let it go cold whilst taking a phone call! Good Covid 19 measures too, which Jodie and team reinforced. Mille grazie! Maggie C

   The food is reasonably priced, quickly served up and the quality is ok. It's not the best quality food around, but you wouldn't expect that from a supermarket cafe. For what it is, it's fine. Also, the staff have always been polite to me.

   Very poor. The jacket potato was barely warm. The topping was generous (tuna mayo) and at £3.50 that's good. But the salad garnish was definitely stale, limp and quite warm. Service was poor - and who was that man in a grey short-sleeved shirt (no uniform, apron or cap) behind the counter? Disappointing at 12.20 lunchtime on a weekday in an almost empty cafe.
