The staff’s attitude made me feel very unwelcome, and the customer service was extremely poor. I felt I was treated differently, which was disappointing and uncomfortable. One of the worst leisure centres I’ve experienced in East Sussex.
All the people that work there are very Rude and Never have smile on their faces. I repeat that never ever have Smile on their Faces. I’ve been there many times, They’re Very unprofessional specially the women’s that work there and that tall man. They behave in a bad manner to the Customers, make things Harder. I think the owners should look at the people that are working there because they’ll keep losing the Customers. The worst Sports centre in the Country without any doubt.
I’m very disappointed with my experience at this Freedom Leisure Centre. Our group held a badminton tournament today, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel unwelcome. Their attitude was extremely rude, and several of us noticed them giving us unfriendly or disapproving looks throughout the event. We were repeatedly told to move or adjust ourselves even when we were following the rules, which made us feel singled out. The way we were treated felt biased and discriminatory, and it left a very negative impression on everyone involved. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks into improving staff professionalism and fairness.

Went to a really cool event that promotes health and strength for independents. A subject that is important to us. They have a bunch of open spaces and the staff are super friendly. MAKE SURE TO REGISTER YOUR CAR REGISTRATION if you park.
First time at this Leisure Centre, would say facilities are better overall than King Alfred. No swimming pool here.
I spent there some hours watching a Brazilian ju-jitsu competition and I liked the place.
Our company hired the sports hall at this centre over four days for a TV commercial shoot and had a seamless experience. They were friendly, professional and accommodating going above and beyond at every point.
Showers are a bit cold, but the staff are friendly, you can get a decent brew and the gym is reasonably well equipped for its size.
