   Just an amazing experience walking with goose and maverick, we started with a little grooming session and then headed out for the walk. They were so well behaved and were lovely when having little ears scritches! Julia is so knowledgeable and gave us so much info on the donkeys and horses too, also info on the area and was so great with the donkeys. She clearly loves her animals so much, and she took some great pictures of us!! Highly recommend booking and visiting them. Lil tip, the road up is very narrow but do not let that deter you the house is up there!

   Had an amazing experience yesterday with Maverick and Goose! I have always loved donkeys ever since I was a little girl, so to be able to hug them, groom them, take them on a walk (with plenty of snack stops) then have a picnic with them, it was memorable! Julia was very welcoming and guided us through what we were going to do, and helping us learn what they could and couldn’t eat along the walk. It was so nice to meet her two horses too, Ed and Shamrock. A very memorable experience, we loved every moment of it! Don’t hesitate to give it a go! And again thank you Julia for giving us that experience.

   We had a fantastic time with Maverick and Goose. Julia was fantastic too! Out walk was a little shorter that the usual one because the typical Welsh weather was unpredictable and Julia explained that if the donkeys get wet they get unhappy less likely to engage with us, it was so nice that she put the donkeys welfare first, as we got there early we were able to spend a little bit more time in the dry barn getting to know the donkeys with grooming and cuddles. The picnic was great with lots of choice of drinks and snacks. If you are thinking of going please don't hesitate to book! Just making sure you read the travelling instructions within the email before the journey and you won't get lost getting there!

   We have just been for the Dinky Donkey Walk with Maverick and Goose, aided expertly by Julia. Who was super lovely, very patient and knowledgeable. What a fantastic experience! We loved every minute of it. Amazing setting, lovely picnic and were able to get to groom and walk these fab little donkeys. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone

   What a fantastic experience and highly recommended for any animal lovers! I booked this event as a surprise for my partner and got to meet two very characterful dinkey donkeys in Maverick and Goose! The walk itself was fantastic and our host Julia was extremely knowledgeable and talked us through the handling experience in great detail to make sure we felt comfortable before heading out. The mid walk picnic was a great addition and although the weather tried to put a dampener on the walk nothing could take away from the memorable experience and both my partner and enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks again to Julia for hosting such a fantastic experience and for Maverick for bravely manoeuvring through the walk.

   I had great fun with Reed on the sheepdog experience. The dogs were great with the sheep and Reed came out on a separate day because he was sick on the scheduled day. Well worth it. Fabulous experience up close and personal.

   My self my husband and daughter went on the dinky donkey picnic on Wed 8th Sept. Julia our host was fantastic as were Maverick and Goose the donkeys. We had a very enjoyable 2 hours walking the donkeys having our picnic and learning a lot about their behaviour / diet and how strong they are. They were defiantly in charge of the walk. It was great getting so close to them and with Julia taking photo's we were able to just enjoy the visit. I would really recommend the experience and we are looking to do this again in the future.

   We booked on to do the dinky donkey walk during our stay in Brecon. Julia was really lovely, excellent communication before the walk and the picnic provided was nice. The walk itself was suitable for all abilities and could be adapted to different requirements. The two donkeys (Maverick and Goose) were beyond adorable and we groomed them and got to know them before taking them out for the walk so we were confident in handling them. We also got the chance to meet some of the horses on the farm too which was a bonus! Would definitely recommend and would go back to do one of the other experiences if we ever return.

   Booked this very last minute on a recent road trip around Wales and it ended up being an absolute highlight for both myself and my husband. Julia was helpful and welcoming from the first time we spoke on the phone, all throughout the visit, and even following up with some amazing photos she took of us and the donkeys! The dinky donkeys Maverick and Goose are real characters and despite warnings that Maverick can sometimes live up to his rebellious name and have a bit of a temper tantrum, he was good as gold throughout his walk! We got plenty of hugs from him and his brother and also got to meet two of Julia's beautiful horses as well. The walk itself is scenic and relatively easy going if you are fit and healthy, although if you have trouble with uphill walking and slippery surfaces then Julia can accommodate you if you let her know beforehand. She was also great at preparing a vegan friendly picnic for me and my husband despite the fact we only booked the evening before! I would recommend this activity to every animal lover visiting the Brecon Beacons - you are guaranteed to leave smiling from ear to ear!
