Well know Kuni’s from brunch in Rugby but the owner decides that he needs to close store in Rugby and need to open in Daventry. Been there first time in Daventry store and I’m well disappointed less choices plus different prices on boards and menu and different prices on till to pay. I was asking why my bill is higher? And they argue with me and said that price is correct!

Great Food visited several times , great service, worth spending rather on halal takeaways with only cash payment option.

I have recently discovered Kunis and they are really good. I would definetaly recommend them. Drinks I'm not a coffee drinker but I'm big on chai Latte and they do a really nice chai Latte. Better than the other shops in the area in my opinion. Food The food is great too we had waffles which were great, they have a good balance of toppings that are not sickening for an adult. I can't wait to enjoy another waffle there. This is my new chai Latte place. Staff The owner guy was really nice and this place deserves our support. The staff are friendly and they have always been very prompt with making drinks and food. Atmosphere They have a really fun atmosphere with all the comic book stuff. They have a lot of seats too. The big minion is fun. Opening Hours I think it's great they are open until 8pm because I've often been in Daventry after 6pm and been craving a drink and the other shops close. Cups They have their own cups which is cool and they have a lot of sizes going up to Mega size. The prices are well worth it which I like. I was starting to feel ripped of in other shops. Update Been here many times now and the waffles and drinks are always great. It's defiently a great place to stop by.

The Rugby branch had closed so we went to Daventry. Small place, quaint and looked cosy, however it was more focused on refreshments than comics. Not going to lie, we were a little disappointed with the lack of comics and the disproportionate amount of memorabilia/merching. Whilst the first part of the name is Coffee, it sounds like a place to read and buy comics whilst eating and drinking. But the reality is it's a coffee shop that sells a handful of comic based items. Three stars because the atmosphere is good, and it's a good looking place with friendly staff but not really what the name suggests. We did t stay for food in the end but it looked tasty!

Kuni's offers a kid friendly coffee house with colourful decor and movie posters. Even a giant minion in the seating area. Comics and gifts for sale but it's the great coffee that sells the place. Try the Kuni with caramel a great blend. Staff are friendly, and the place does not operate like a conveyor belt like the star place or cost a. Chill and have a brew....

What a shame. Heard such good things that simply weren't there. Arrived late Saturday morning/early afternoon (11/02/23) with a 3yo and an infant. There were plenty of empty tables. Waited far, far too long for our order. Nearly 40 minutes for one 3 stack of pancakes, a waffle and one sausage roll. Unacceptable. Food was satisfactory. However, the pancakes were slightly undercooked, very pale. Do not come here thinking you're going to a comic book shop with a café, it's a café with some comics in the corner, an unorganised, messy, unloved selection of single issues awfully displayed. Cannot bear to see Funko Pops advertised as Comic Book merch, complete let down. Nearest decent (real) comic book shop would probably be Aylesbury's Dead Universe. The main problem, the glaring problem, was the absolute state of the place. It was filthy. Every surface was sticky, and the floor was covered in food and cutlery. When queuing you can see the work area behind the counter was also filthy and it literally stopped me from ordering more food. Staff were doing the absolute bare minimum in terms of customer service and work. Only ever saw them empty-handed looking bored apart from one poor lad being made to do all the lifting. I watched staff member after staff member walk through a filthy dining area over and over with no attempt to even begin to clean. We had to use our baby wipes to clean our own table! Absolutely disgusting! Saw one young lad carrying stuff the whole time I was there, and as I was leaving, an older member of staff was extremely patronising to him. It was very awkward. "I want this job done before you go home, please." In a very rude and passive aggressive tone in the middle of the place, in front of customers, really gross. She sounded like an angry mother, and came across as an awful misandrist. Poor lad kept his chin up and responded with respect, and, considering he was the only person I saw working, I'd say he deserved to go home early! Do not recommend unless willing to slum it. Only positives was the decor and the prices being slightly cheaper than expected.

Absolutely love this place. Really unique little cafe serving delicious coffee, sandwiches and many other goodies in the company of nerdy card-playing types and a giant minion. Always a really friendly welcome, loads of space and stuff for the kids to look at and do. Recommended!
