My friends and I had an amazing day with Off Road Adventure Travel. Adam was brilliant throughout and was really helpful throughout the day. I would definitely recommend booking for a fun day out.
Driving up, down and on the Pyrenees will stay with me for a very long time! From the start of the tour Adam's attention to detail and supporting the group was exemplary. The thought that had clearly gone into the routes travelled, campsites to either stay a night or longer if a rest day demonstrated the experience of Adam and maximised the groups engagement from getting the most out of the tour. It is difficult to put into words the level of enjoyment both my grownup daughter and I got from the trip, so 3 points that we thought would never happen but did: - Watched vultures souring in the warm air currents, and we were looking down on them! - Met 6 strangers on day one, and parted after 2 weeks as good friends - Land Rover climbed accumulate nearly 75,000 feet....... and never broke down. Cannot wait to choose the next adventure!
Did a 2 week tour of the pyrenees mountains, and it was the most incredible experience. Everything was planned with such detail from making sure we got the most out of our days, taking in as many sights as possible, challenging us and our cars to different types of terrain no matter the weather and also taking the time to plan rest days during the tour so you could completely relax. The campsites we stayed at were all unique in their own way, from the local dishes to the amazing views, and the towns you could go and visit. Adam was incredibly knowledgeable on anything and everything, from the history of the places we were visiting and driving through, what sort of animals you would find and tanslating the menus so we knew what we were ordering. I can not celebrate this enough well worth I have not stopped thinking about it since I got back. 10/10 experience, can't wait for the next one.
Friends and i have once again entrusted Adam to share with us the delights of an off-road adventure in Wales, it didnt disappoint ! 6 x good friends in 3 x Land Rover 90 Defender ex-army Wolves, spent a fabulous day in the Brechfa Forest, and a day on the fabulous Strata Florida route, ending up with a visit to the Elan Valley Dams .. spectacular .. We cant speak highly enough of Adam, he knows the area like the back of his hand, is curteous and a true professional at all times. Highly recommended ..
Excellent off road tracks and trails expertly guided by Adam with lovely accommodation booked for two or one night stays. My G wagon came back unscathed thanks to Adams hedge trimmer! Will definitely use his hotel based 4x4 trips again.
Have done 2 trips with Adam, both really well organised and lots of fun! Adam is professional, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The routes were varied and interesting, and met some great traveling companions. Highly Recommended.
Not only does Adam provide a friendly, professional and informative tour service he also makes everyone feel very welcome. We (my two young sons and I Eleven and Nine) had a great time in a relatively dated Land rover 110 which had roadie type tyres. Adam and his partner engaged with my children and made them feel comfortable in the group activity and showed them how to use the Walkie Talkies which gave them a role. We did not have the tyres c.f. others and struggled a bit on one climb and Adam clamly talked us through the best line and regained my confidence in the ability of the vehicle and my limited skills. It is an activity you can do confifently knowing that your vehicle will be capable and will not be damaged whilst having an Adventure ther same time. p.s. the scenery was magic.
Wiltshire Weekend - for once it didn't rain! A very laid back tour on some of Wiltshires finest Byways and Green Lanes. OK..so it was a bit dusty and a tadge overgrown - it is summer i suppose - but all in all a great couple of days out. Stunning views and miles of open countryside. Adam knows his stuff and it always a laugh to be out on the trails with him. Many discussions were had around the camp fire in the evening and a great little chilled out site. Looking forward to the next great adventure.
