   I can understand why the reviews are so poor. After writing a complaint to head office, they seem to think it is normal practice for a pharmacy to make you wait for your medication. If you hand a prescription in on a Friday, then not be able to collect it until Tuesday. So if you need emergency antibiotics for an infection for example, they expect you to wait for four days. I don't think so. Also as with so many other negative reviews, the customer service in this pharmacy is zero.. Further to this, the chemist has a seven day turnaround from putting in your repeat at the surgery to collection at the pharmacy. Why then, is it never ready or items missing when I collect? And queues like this. See image .

   Called into this pharmacy at Thursday 13/11/2025 at 4pm today with my perscription and was told they would be ready to collect on Monday 17/11/2025. When i asked...whats wrong with tomorrow....the lady replied we are busy. I have gone to this pharmacy for over 30 years and the decline in this chemist is staggering.. The staff there appear to not care less and can only be described as fundamentally useless. The business is and its staff are without doubt poorly managed.

   Called into pharmacy at 5.50 pm with my prescriptions and was told that it couldn’t be dealt with as they were closing, albeit the closing time states 6pm. I said that I needed one of my blood pressure tablets as I had run out and was told the earliest they would be ready would be Wednesday and they normally take 3 to 5 days as they had a basket full of scripts to deal with. There were 3 members of staff that I could see and they were stood talking, if they had so many to do instead of standing around talking surely they should be dealing with the prescriptions. I can’t understand why it takes so long to put prescriptions up these days

   Been coming to this pharmacy for years, most of the staff are polite and welcoming, especially Danielle (i think that's her name) she is absolutely fabulous and very helpful. There is one member of staff (i think her name is Jane, she's about 50 with long dark hair) she is horrible, everytime I go there she is rude, like as if every customer is a burden. I really think she's in the wrong job because she clearly does not like people and definitely doesn't like her job.

   Most of the reviews are 2 years old when it was a wonderful chemist. Now the service here is terrible, there is only 1 origal staff member there. very rude abrupt staff especially one lady ,she makes you feel you shouldn't be bothering her .sorry but this is the truth.

   Wonderful surgery in the centre of Neath with excellent customer service. I don't envy any key workers, especially those in the pharmaceutical profession during this pandemic, but the service has always been brilliant. I'd definitely recommend this pharmacy to others.
