Excellent service from pharmasist & staff in the preparation of prescription & knowledge being & they cover a large number in the area. Highly recommended for their service. Also the shop area provides a good supply of various goods at reasonable prices.
Chris the pharmacist was so helpful in tricky circumstances. Much appreciated. Also, waiting times seem less than in other pharmacies.

Brilliant pharmacy. Friendly helpful staff & excellent pharmacist. They provide a fantastic community based service as they have lots of regulars. They’re familiar with customer medical history therefore providing a really spot on personalized service. The regular main pharmacist has given me some great medical advice & is always polite & helpful. The staff are great, advised me to approach my doctor regards a cream I had been buying some time ago - my GP prescribed it no problem thus saving me £££! I can’t big these guys up enough to be honest - I only hope that Kevin Thomas is paying them well! Kevin, give these guys a pay rise - they deserve it! you don’t get service like this from large chains like Boots. ***Edit....google says they shut at 2 on a Saturday but they actually shut at 12. So, either Google or Kevin Thomas sort this out online as I was about to go there as I’d checked opening times online to find a handwritten sign saying they close at 12 Saturday’s. Almost deducted a star for that, but it could be Googles fault - but please amend it as someone needing something urgently if Kevin Thomas has left you an owing slip will be left high & dry on Saturday as you can’t go elsewhere if they’ve kept your original prescription!!
I needed a prescription delivery I have asthma made much worse by a severe infection caused by mold. I phoned St Helons Road and repeately explained to them I had changed my home.address but they failed to tell the delivery man. I phoned them Thursday after not receiving my prescription they picked up my prescription from my Doctors on Tuesday. I explained my Doctor had done my prescription this time till I feell well enough to sign onto a new Doctors in my new postcode area. And that can they deliver it to my new address I had given them my new address on the first phone call though. They told me they had attempted to deliver it to my old address I explained again on Thursday I moved to a new address and repeated that address to them again and gave them my mobile phone number. They said they would deliver my prescription to my new adress on Friday the following day. But on Friday I had a horrible feeling they would not be delivering my prescription. I phoned them and they told me my prescription was at St Helens Road. I said to the lady whilst crying but the man I spoke to yesterday said you would be delivering it today. I finally got my prescription on Friday but on the prescription bag they had wrote attemped delivery 2 times. Not aplicable to deliver to what was my actual address this time which was typed. on the label. So after just one atempt to deliver my prescription to my old address. On realizing they attempted to deliver it to my old address because I explained that to them Thursday again They decided not to deliver it to my new address on Friday They classed one attempt to my old address as attempt 1 they had not made an attempt to deliver to my new address till Friday and that delivery would not of happened if I had not phoned them on Friday distraught they were going to leave my prescription sitting in the chemist after just 1 delivery attempt to my old address Apalling I will never trust this chemist ever again.
