I consistently have extremely disappointing experiences at this pharmacy. The staff are rude and unsympathetic to ongoing issues, failing to grasp the importance of their jobs. On several occasions, they have suggested I visit other pharmacies due to long wait times and low stock. Regardless of how common the medication was, I was often told to come back after several hours or even days. For repeat prescriptions, despite the 72-hour wait time, they were rarely ready on time.
When I first started using this pharmacy everyone was amazing. Over the last year the staff are rude. You never get notified your prescriptions are ready. If they say ready online and you show up you normally get asked to come back a day or two later anyways. Just today they were out of my prescription and said "You want to try somewhere else?" I go to another pharmacy and they say there is a known shortage and my GP can adjust my medication so they can fill it. Why couldn't the pharmacist next door to my GP have told me that?!?! My husband and I are going to move over to Caereithin, much kinder and more informed staff over there!
You can fill your prescription online but then they only notify you when it's ready half the time. Most of the time when you show up to get it after being notified it is ready they tell you to come back the next day. Always call before you go up there even then you probably get told to come back later. So disorganized.
I took a prescription into the shop at 4pm on a Thursday. No customers in shop. A few members of staff to be told it won’t be ready til Tuesday. Went in on Friday at 5-30 with another prescription again Jo customers and a few members of staff to be told antibiotics only. Won’t be done til Monday. If they were busy I would understand but no one in shop. Useless chemist to get anything from
Takes several hours to get a prescription, and on top of my housemate having to walk and hour there and back in pain ( and wait some more there) they forget the one thing that's ment to be used 4 times a day. Never in my life have I seen a pharmacy actually neglect a prescription ( no mention of an item not being available) and take so long to get them out. So cheers for not doing your job properly!!
Staff are rude and lazy and don't like being called out for this either they tell you to leave if they over hear you talking about them worst pharmacy by far
Very slow and got to wait
Waited 40 mins for a prescription, told my prescription "was lost in the queue". Shop assistant was very apologetic and couldn't say sorry enough. Men behind the counter not very bothered. Honest evaluation.
