I recently booked a flu jab here and my appointment was cancelled 15 minutes before I arrived, I couldn't answer the phone as I was driving to the appointment and no voicemail or text was left advising of the cancellation, I only found out when I arrived. Upon expressing by dissatisfaction at how little notice they gave me, the member of staff was looking at me and acting ike I was in the wrong. I was given a feeble excuse that they attempted to notify me as soon as they knew they had no vaccine in stock, surely they would have established this more than 15 minutes before my appointment. I left and was able to get a vaccine straight away with no nonsense at the Well Pharmacy opposite. I was told to await an email to claim my refund which never came, an overall terrible experience and customer service that amounts to an utter joke.

Great place! I can get anything and everything there and the staff are so lovely. The lady at the till was very kind, making sure I had everything I needed and even complimented my top. She made my day!

Shorter lady, glasses - The absolute worst customer facing worker i have ever met, and I'm a manager in a supermarket so I've seen some shockers - very very few people in customer service want to be there so I can understand it but come on, get a grip and turn on the work voice. I dread coming in because of her, the rest of the store is fine.

So this is my 4th encounter at Boots Uplands pharmacy where I have been met by the rudest woman behind the counter. (Short blonde hair, older, glasses). Rather than greeting you with a smile or a hello...You're greeted with a huffy 'yes' and zero eye contact. You are always presented with a long queue which gives you a chance to witness her dismal display of customer service with each person. Either some training is seriously needed or new staff, it's awful. I can understand from working in customer service myself, that you don't always interact with the nicest of people and yes it can affect your mood....but generally people are great! I thought the first time I met this worker that she must have had a bad day but after the next few visits and seeing her interact with others, its clear that it's her personality...or lack of. Just a reminder, she is working in a customer service based role giving out prescriptions to people who are unwell, seriously ill or perhaps suffering with mental health. Having someone who could fathom a hello or smile would seriously be advantageous in this pharmacy. Do better.

Always go here for a yearly flu jab, great service and explanation of everything by staff, reasonable price for it to. Recently started collecting a prescription from the pharmacy and the stuff are helpful, let me know when it would be ready and were also helpful over the phone.

Amazing service from Andrew in the pharmacy. They really think outside the box when you're in a tight spot.

Extremely rude service yesterday from Lauren. Both myself and my son were spoken to in a manner that is unacceptable. We’re both exempt from wearing a mask but were challenged on the shop floor by Lauren. My son felt so uncomfortable that he left the shop. I chose what I wanted and was served at the till by the same woman who made it abundantly clear that she wasn’t happy about me not wearing a mask. Lauren, in case you’re unaware, it’s illegal to challenge anyone, or to discriminate. Yes Lauren, it’s against the law. Your treatment of us was shameful. I hope you enjoyed your obvious feeling of superiority. Absolutely disgusting.

Being a 50yr old male who went into Boots on his own, always get stared at and watched by the staff. Always makes me feel like I shouldn't be there. When I'm with my daughter different matter no one looks twice. I complained once to Boots about it, nothing happened. Always avoid Boots unless I have daughter with me, saves me being stared at and made to feel uncomfortable. That's my experience, you guys enjoy it....
