   This surgery is fantastic and having seen how my family were fairing at a different GP practice in the area, I registered here instead and registered them at the same time. My wife said it was the best thing she has done. Instead of having to be ready on your phone at 07:59 to try and get an appointment and fail miserably, you can call this surgery and get a same day appointment no problem. You must check whether you are eligible to register here on the practice web site before attempting to register otherwise you will be turned away. The only negative would be the parking situation, particularly around school drop off/pick up times. The surgery has a very small car park which is shared with the dental surgery across the way. Ideally you should look to walk or cycle if you can. Otherwise park down the road whilst being considerate to residents.

   If I could give it 0 stars I would, rang the receptionist today 12/06/25 at around 4;45pm to request a repeat prescription and to ask for an appointment to discuss my prescription only for her to hang up on me mid conversation, I have never known a more rude receptionist in my life. To be in a health care setting you should be kind and compassionate not hang up on people, disgusting behaviour, I just wish I knew their name so I could put a more formal complaint in.

   Parents use this surgery and if I could give it less than 1 star I would. One doctor in particular is only interested in ticking boxes and looking good on reports doesn't care about patient welfare at all. Even hospital recommendations are not followed.

   This review is specifically for Dr Dewidar at Beechcroft surgery. The history is that I lost my son in 2022 suddenly and unexpectedly. I have obviously been devastated by this loss and struggling emotionally. Dr Dewidar has been amazing in not only sorting genetic testing for my daughter but confronting my own medical issues and seeing through my original consultation. Massive thank you for taking my concerns seriously and arranging the genetic testing which now happens on 22.1.24 but also for realising this grieving mum was struggling. What a sweetheart you are, a credit to the surgery. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
