Don’t think they realise how many people give up waiting in their queue. They seem to run this store with all the dispensers and pharmacists in the back with just one member of staff who is constantly taking in prescription and with no time to serve people for over the counter meds. If you do have to pick up a script it takes forever. They really should get a grip, queue is sometimes out the door. Update 1/10/25 : still crazy, stood for 15 mins waiting while no one approached me even tho some staff walked straight past me. It seems like the manager (the pharmacist) tries his best but he’s so nice, staff take advantage and don’t put the effort in. Could do with some support I know Boots try their best to save as much money as possible, so don’t invest, and of many pharmacies are struggling, the company would give a political and economic reason but ultimately it’s clearly done to maximising profits.

Terrible chemist couldn't even do a prescription of 3 items had to wait 2 days one of the staff members is horrible has a stinking attitude there's a notice stating that they won't tolerate abuse but she speaks to people like something you step in

Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait to pick up prescriptions, but that’s not Boots’ fault - there’s a national shortage of pharmacists at the moment. All the staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful and there’s a quiet room if you want to talk to the pharmacist in private, plus make-up and beauty items
