ZERO STARS... WARNING.... Unprofessional, inconsiderate, shocking service, 9 days for a repeat subscription that I've had in store for years, Seems regularly over staffed and with their social gossiping taking center stage, why would they be concentrating on the job their paid for.... US, the customers/ patients that pay taxes for this service but felt like a inconvenience to said pharmacy.

Went to this pharmacy this morning to pick up a prescription the Dr's surgery said was at the pharmacy. When I got there they informed me that it wasn't there and offered to ring the Dr's to sort it for me which I replied I was already on the phone to them to sort it out turns out the Dr's surgery hadn't sent my prescription to the pharmacy, when I finally got it sorted and went back to the pharmacy to get the medication prescribed to me. Fair play to one of the assistants the one with the long blonde hair (didn't take her name) she sorted my prescription straight away so I didn't have to hang around and wait any longer than I already had. Their so polite and friendly in this pharmacy and very helpful to. Any other pharmacy would have made me wait.

My usual chemist was closed on Saturday when I realised I was out of 2 essential daily repeat medications needing collection. The Gorseinon pharmacist was very helpful and kindly provided an emergency supply for a few days until I could collect my prescription at the other chemist. Thank you so much!

I shan't be using this pharmacy anymore for my prescription, the service doesn't compare to Lloyd's pharmacy that formerly occupied this site. My prescription was sent there from my doctor's surgery on Thursday 29th October, I was told that it wouldn't be ready that same afternoon, come back on Friday 30th. I was in no rush so decided to call in at 2:15pm on Monday only to be told to once again come back after half an hour for the pharmacist to have his lunch. I questioned why the prescription wasn't ready after being told it would be ready on Friday, the attitude of the dispenser, named Julie, immediately went to defensive passive-aggressive saying that the pharmacist is entitled to lunch by law and I will have to come back later. I cut her down and said assertively to stop that attitude. It was wholly unprofessional of her and there was zero sympathy nor empathy from someone in customer facing role. She attacked back saying that I'd entered with an attitude, again wholly unprofessional as I had entered with a smile and waited politely to be served whilst the dispensers were finishing off whatever they were in the middle of. I told Julie that the whole situation that I feel that she had created, was unacceptable and I would need to speak to the manager of the store, whose name I was given as Nadine, to complain about the attitude and lack of service I had received. The pharmacist offered to delay his lunch and make up my prescription, trying to be helpful but at the same time putting the ownus on me very much for delaying his lunch, when in effect the prescription was delayed due to their own work procedures, not me as a customer, and therefore I am not delaying someone's lunch because the work was not done in a timely manner 2 days prior. I was not going to be made to feel culpable for this, when it is the fault of the pharmacy for not making up the prescription by the afore-promised Friday. 2 and half work days later, I still don't have my medication and the pharmacist suggested I take my prescriptions elsewhere (so as not to deal with me and my dissatisfaction further and not to delay his lunch too) I left the pharmacy feeling aggressed at the attitude of Julie; how dare she verbally attack a customer for simply inquiring why the medication was not ready 2 and a half days after the script was delivered. I shall be speaking with Nadine on Wednesday when she is next available, to express my complete dissatisfaction, hopefully with some positive appeasement and also to strongly advise her that some very much needed customer service and complaints handling skills are urgently needed for Julie, so that she as a customer service worker can understand how her words, tone and attitude can greatly affect patients and customers. If you cannot show sympathy and empathy, then customer facing roles are not for you. Since this pharmacy has opened, the service has steadily become slower, there are longer waits and prescriptions are never ready when you're asked to come back by. Today was just awful, I shall tell everyone about my experience and strongly advise people to source a speedier, friendlier, professional pharmacy with dispensers who have well refined customer service skills and at least have the immediate first instinct to apologise for the poor and slow service, and not attack with such passive aggression. Horrible, terrible, appalling, from a customer perspective. No doubt Julie will be very defensive over this review too as it seems to be within her nature from what I experienced today. Let's see what Nadine, the manager, can do on Wednesday to appease the situation and possibly change my opinion and Google rating. Customers are key, not always right, but they always need to be treated with professionalism, sympathy and leave feeling like they want to return to a store. None of which I have today. Nadine's response to me and how I was left feeling will be posted after Wednesday on all applicable platforms for all to read.

Went in to this chemist on Thursday hoping to speak to the pharmacist as I didn’t feel too well. The lovely young lady at the till told me I’d have to wait about 10 minutes and I could take a seat, at which the pharmacist quite rudely told us that she didn’t have time. I can accept if she didn’t have time, but not the rudeness. Even the young lady looked taken aback. I left feeling upset. Another customer followed me out as she also was hoping to see the pharmacist, but left after witnessing what happened to me. I will never go in there again. The pharmacist couldn’t be bothered to ask what the problem was. I’m concerned about people who may have mental health problems being dismissed like this.

Absolutely appalling customer service!! My grandparents were screamed at by staff members as they wanted to stay in the car as they are self isolating due to still being frightened of covid due to losing so many family members recently. A lovely young girl in the nigel Williams pharmacy helped them by calling around for the medication that they required and explained that they were self isolating and were not contagious however upon arrival of this pharmacy they were treated disgustingly and were screamed at for being infectious!! They were also told that they could just buy Calpol instead of having the paracetamol solution on prescription as they are “the same thing” when in fact Calpol is half the strength of the paracetamol she required! The appalling service took over 40 minutes, in which it was then thrown in the boot! my grandmother was upset and disheartened by the service here and swears to never return and wouldn’t recommend to anyone!!!

I was in this pharmacy 6th June about midday the lady behind the counter really helped me out and saved me substantial money on some items I bought. A different lady did the same this a few months back, it's the place I always go now it worked out better than asda for my products and that is unusual. Good to see some competitiveness in hard times and a big thanks to the staff. Your not giving away money by helping with discounts your gaining customers because I drive all the way from the mumbles to come here. This should be a example to all retail businesses it's tough times for all of us so work together.

Absolutely useless in there!! Got told my repeat prescription would be done by this time and date. But soon arrival the very rude Indian lady told me there was nothing for me and that I hadn’t asked for one. I told her that I was in at the beginning of the week and the lady behind the counter wrote it all down in the system. But she was adamant that I was lying and wouldn’t help me at all. Told me that I had to go back to the surgery and sort it out myself because she didn’t have time to call them, even though it was all their fault! When I eventually got to the surgery I was told that the pharmacy hadn’t contacted them at all, and that they were having a lot of problems with them lately. I’m not the only person I know who’s had similar issues with them either. Very rude. Very unhelpful. And very very lazy!! I’m changing to Well+ pharmacy instead, along with a load of other unhappy people from Lloyds Gorseinon

This is a brilliant pharmacist. Friendly, helpful, efficient. If they can't meet their own high standards it is normally the fault of the GP surgery or "the system ".
